Community Sound-Off: Movie Hotties

Getting past celebrities and their lack of undergarments for once, I'd like to kick off this Community Sound-Off by asking you guys what character/actor you always thought was a "hottie" IN A PARTICULAR FILM. Give examples, memories, reasons, etc.

Kurt Russell in Soldier. Nothing is sexier to yrs. truly than a guy who looks like he's been through some punishment and survived.

Partly also why I liked the latest James Bond better than Mr. Brosnan.

Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing was the first time that happened to me. I was maybe... eight. My dad and brother had gone somewhere, and Mom and I had a girls' night and that was one of the movies we watched. He was a rebel, loyal to his friends, and I remember thinking, "I wanna man who can dance." It was the first of two movies that made a big enough impact on me that I ended up taking three and a half years of dance lessons.

Another example would be John Hannah (a very not handsome actor) in Sliding Doors. He's just nice, funny, gets extra points for being able to do Monty Python's Spanish Inquisition sketch. I know I could fall for a guy like that.

Okay, now I'll slink away in shame....

Scarlett Johannson in pretty much every movie she does.

I've always kinda liked Jennifer Connelly in most of the movies she's starred in. I wouldn't exactly call her "hot", but Ms Connelly has a youthful freshness in her appearance that I think many adult men find extremely attractive.

In fact, I am of the opinion that she looks even better now (e.g Blood Diamond, House of Fog) than she was in her teenage days in "Labryinth" or "Dark City" (A much overlooked classic). It's in her...eyes, I think. They make her seem very focused and adult.

I suppose its because I am more partial to the "classical" form of hotness embodied these days by Actresses like Jennifer Connely, Rachel Weiz, Eva Green and (for you old 80's TV Fans) Cybil Shephard than "Babes" like Eliza Dushku or Jessica Biehl.

(Shrug) But's that just my opinion.

But seriously (and yes, that Gary Busey thing was a joke. Geeze, don't want to get that name for myself), can I add one more? Last one I promise.

Daniel Craig is probably the best, and most recent, example of this for me. Apparently I've seen him in movies for years. Or should I say, I had seen movies that have him in them, and in some he was the main character, but I never actually saw him. Give the man 00 status and it's like, "Hey, who is that?" But the funny part is I've watched movies with him after having seen Casino Royale, and I still don't see him! It's weird.

Johnny Depp in Crybaby...mmm...he sings, he dances, he's a tough boy on a motercycle but he has a sensitive side (thus the "crybaby" part). he had great clothes, and that hot hot greaser hair. I think I licked the screen last time it was on. mmmmm...... Okay so i'm a dork. :-) I'd also take Elvis is any movie he's ever been in....notice a theme?

I had a Johnny Depp "fetish" like crush for years. Not so much his looks as the sort of roles he palyed and how he played them.

Ah, the perfect thread for me!

Though I don't really like Catherine Zeta Jones all that much, I thought her role as Charlie is High Fidelity was very very "hot" and "babe-core", especially because the role had that awesome "rebellious" factor. In fact, much like Kyle, I always like any girl in a movie who is one of those of those "rebel" types.

Outside of the whole "rebel" spectrum I always liked Liv Tyler's role in "One Night At McCool's" because of her sheer hotness and shiny red hair, and speaking of shiny red hair, Kiersten Dunst as MJ is pretty swell too.

And one more actress...I can't remember any particular role she was in, but Jennifer Love Hewitt is one of those "no matter what she's still super super hot" type of actresses that Kyle talked about in his one article.

Also Thomas Jane in the Punisher, although the whole "I do nothing but drink Wild Turkey all day and my abs are flawless" thing was fairly hilarious.

I probably don't even have to mention Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Johnny Depp in pretty much everything he's been in. There have been very few parts he played where I was not lusting.

Also, and this one is HUGE Joseph Fiennes as William Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love. Not only is he ridiculously attractive, but the character he plays...Mmmm.

Eva Green in Casino Royale, Rachel McAdams in Wedding Crashers and Jennifer Cooke in Friday the 13th part 6.

For me it would be Devon Aoki from Sin City. I have a thing for asians and she's as sexy as they come. Particularly in that movie (she was pretty hot in 2 Fast 2 Furious as well).

Also have a some what of a crush on Chiaki Kuriyama (Kill Bill/Battle Royale) and Angelina Jolie (I also have a thing for full lips ).

I guess I just have a thing for bad girls in general ;D The damsel in distress thing just never did anything for me.
