"An homage to exploitation B-movie thrillers that combines two feature-length segments into one double-bill designed to replicate the grind house theatergoing experience of the 70s and 80s. In "Death Proof," a psycho named Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) stalks and kills beautiful women with his car. In "Planet Terror," a small-town sheriffs' department has to deal with an outbreak of murderous, infected people called "sickos." A gun-legged woman named Cherry (Rose McGowan) and her martial arts-wielding partner (Freddy Rodriguez) take on the zombie army. The two films will be fused together by fake movie trailers."

I was going to say HELL YES my theater has the stand up poster thingy for it, but then Kyle, I realized that I saw it at the Ontario Mills AMC, which I'm guessing is probably where you saw it, so it's like a jinx sort of thing....
But yes, i was literally salivating when I saw the stand up, that was the first I'd heard about it, and then started researching it...and man oh man is this going to be sweet. See you there opening night?

It;s actually a double feature. One directed by Robert Rodriguez (Planet Terror) and the other (Death Proof) directed by Quentin Tarantino.
Ooh yeah.

As soon as I found out it was going to be two full-length movies, I knew I had to see it. Really looking forward to this, especially the fake trailers in between.

i saw the trailer for "grindhouse" the other night. The scene where Rose McGowan does her "stripper-dance" routine with her new "leg".....
