Curiosity question: What was the first movie poster you had on your wall?
Mine was Frankenweenie.
I was six. My brother made extra cash when he was twelve washing windows of local businesses, and one of them was a video rental place. He got the employee first dibs on posters perk and that was the poster he picked out for me.

Snow White. Some sort of special theatrical re-release when I was about 5. I was afraid of the witch and cried, so they gave me a poster to keep me quiet.

Dick Tracy. When the movie came out, each of the gangsters got their own one-sheet poster and my brother and I each got one from a friend of our parents who worked at a movie theater. I know one was of Mumbles, and I think the other was actually of Tracy himself but I can't remember. Maybe it was Flattop. In any event, the fact that it was two-sided was possibly the coolest thing I had ever seen and I showed it off to anyone who would stand still long enough for me to go get it.

I don't have any. I'm not much of a collector when it comes to memorabilia. I don't even keep tickets from films I've seen, although I think my Sibling 2 does that.

...Bowling for Columbine. I guess that's something for the "you know you're a geek when" thread.

Uh, I think the first movie poster I had after I moved into my own room was a reprint of the "Star Wars: A New Hope" poster. It also may have been the "Romancing the Stone" poster I picked up from a yard sale.

I know mine was a Star Wars poster...It wasn't the actual movie poster, but it was a poster based off a movie nonetheless. It was a bunch of quotes from the original trilogy, and it got ripped many moons ago, but I remember my favorite was: "Try not. Do or do not. There is no try." I thought that was the coolest ever!
First actual movie poster-poster was probably Sixteen Candles, or The Breakfast Club. Something with Molly Ringwald.

Mine was from the first "Robocop" movie. The full body shot of him stepping out of the cop car. Awesome poster. I wish I still had it.

I don't even keep tickets from films I've seen, although I think my Sibling 2 does that. I started keeping tickets a few years ago after I realized that I wished I still had them from some of the more underrated (Ones that no one but me and about twelve other people saw. Two of whom were named Bob) or interesting (Streetfighter) movies I've been to. They're like a badge of honor.

My first poster up was the 89 Keaton Batman one, with just the (then) brand new Bat logo against a field of black. Still awesome to this day.

I thiiiiiiiink it was A Knight's Tale. I got it from the video store when they were done with it. It's in my brother's room now and he's begging me to take it down. He says Heath watches him when he sleeps. In my room right now I have a Legolas poster (shhhh, I swear it's ironic), a Serenity poster, and I had a Jack Sparrow one from the newspaper but I threw it out yesterday when I was cleaning my room. I have more but those are just the movie ones.

Star Trek IV, the one with the words traveling at warp speed. Nowadays, it's Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World, The Thing From Another World, Head (yeah, the one with the Monkees), and Highlander. But movie posters are fighting a losing battle against concert posters for me.
