*sigh*
Hands down, the best movie of 2007. Considering how disappointed I've been this Oscar Season, There Will Be Blood was like a breath of fresh air.

This movie was really good, but I must say, No Country for Old Men was should win. It is much easier to get into, and it grabs you from start to (in some cases) finish. This movie was a lot slower and the whole thing felt like it was building up to something huge, which it was, but it got to me after a while. Not that I was bored, but I kept feeling an uncomfortable anxiousness.
I still loved it, and Daniel Day Lewis's acting is the best I've seen in any movie that has come out in the past 5 years or so. Brilliant!
