Wow. Why isn't there already thread about this movie? For praising or for bashing.... Anyhow, I totally dug this flick. The opening few scenes were out of this world, I thought. And in general, Josh Brolin's character (Llewelyn Moss) was ubercool. The movie managed to hold my attention till it's completion (which is a mean feat in itself for a two-hour movie), except the bit when *spoiler*Sheriff Bell visits his uncle*/spoiler* which I thought was a wee bit of a drag. This'll never be an all-time favourite or anything of that sort, but I thought it was a real solid movie.
Opinions?

Like I mentioned in another thread, I absolutely loved this movie. The plot, the characters (Bardem in particular), the fact that it's not the movie you think it is. The end is a little hu-bu-wha?, but makes sense when you think about it. It excels on every level. Now, since I'm clearly being goaded into a review by some people on the forum*, I'll say no more for the moment. But it was terrific, no question. * I kid, I kid.

Ditto, it was a great movie. I expect nothing less from Tommy Lee Jones, but the acting was great from every character. A good thriller throughout. I actually enjoyed the scene that you found dull, Cryptic. It was very much in this character to admit his limitations, and especially poignant that he did so to the grizzled lawman uncle.

I love movies that don't really have a beginning or an ending (Cube). And I really love it when a movie doesn't try to explain everything while holding your hand. No Country really delivered.
