Aparently Toy Story is going for the trilogy. A short article about director and writer can be found here: www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=18818It is too bad that Lasseter will not be directing, but the writer of "Little Miss Sunshine" could produce an interesting story. Ans according to IMDB the basic synopsis is that the toys (Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are returning) are dumped at a day care center when Andy leaves for college. In all honesty, I am a little surprised it took this long for a third movie to be in the works.

Are you kidding? I thought they were working on it from the second Toy Story 2 smashed opening weekend records. What have I been patiently waiting for all these years? It was five years between one and two, and now it's been eight years since two. I mean, c'mon. Come. On.

Well, here's to hoping that that Pixar keeps up its record of quality movies. The plot sounds promising and it's good to know that Hanks & Allen are on board.
