Lost: Season Finale Spoilers!!

Did anybody else out there watch this?
I was not disapointed with what happned. The biggest surprise was Walter getting "kidnaped" by the mysterious fisherman, who I have a strong inkling might actually be the others from the island. I know it's the thing to have cliff hanger ending but it is cruel and unusual not to show what's in the hatch. I was expecting that but it doesn't make my curiosity any less. When Locke was taken by the beast I heard some sort of metalic clanking, making me think, as I'm sure I'm supposed to, that it is mechanical.
I just really love this show and can't wait for next season.

Totally frickin' missed it. Plus, I missed part one last week (thanks to Star Wars). I did, however, go over to Television Without Pity to get recapped and recouped, so I'm mostly in the light. I'm just stoked that it's coming out on dvd so I can watch it with my wife. I only get to watch it at work, and she misses it completely.

They probably didn't show the hatch because the writers haven't decided what's in there.

Personally, I think there might be some dead bodies. I'm thinking a prison or a dungeon of sorts. Notice how the ladder was broken off so whatever was down there couldn't get out.

I think the fisherman were definitely from the island. They did everything but put a big flashing light on them that says "see, they're 'The Others'!" I remember when Danielle said she heard them talking about taking the boy (and they didn't want Claire's baby), I thought "A boy, hmm, why does that sound familiar." It wasn't until we saw the raft that I remembered there was another boy on the island--Walt.

Hasn't J.J. Abrams already written out the next 3 seasons, which are supposed to be the only seasons?
