I don't know what's funnier, that he hates us, or that it took him 8 fonts to figure it out.

Eight fonts and the "Lips sealed" icon. C+ for effort, D- for execution, FF for taste.

but ya gotta give 'em at least a B+ for the alliteration alone Oh, and Poolman, can we be sure that our literary genius is male? Seems like this is a good opportunity for the use of the gender neutral pronoun zie. I'm looking at you, lissa - I still think that zie is a legitimate scrabble word ;D

I actually thought of throwing in the obligatory "she", but I figured that chances are only a male could be that crass to strangers.
Not a man, you'll notice...

I just found out that Futurama Season IV is available for pre-order... it'll be hitting the stores on August 24th. Cool No, my friend, it's a cruel, cruel twist of fate, that the DVD sets I want must always be released just barely too late to be purchased for my birthday (the 24th). Last year the 3rd season of the Simpsons was released a scant 2 days later on the 26th, and you know that nobody's stopping off at Best Buy this year for some last-minute shopping on the day itself. Oh spiteful destiny, how thou dost mock me! (Thank God for gift certificates and birthday money, in other words. ) To add to my previous list: Batman: The Animated Series volume 1 And as soon as I return from vacation, Sealab 2021 volume 1 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force volume 2. -D, kickin' it Michigan style for the next week...

I'm right with you on that... my birthday's also a month away, so it comes just before the release. But, that just means that we buy Season IV outright on the 24th, and Lissa finds something else for my b-day

I just finished watching the Sports Night set (awesome!), and have decided that marathon sittings of TV shows are the way to go. Especially given that the networks don't consider my travel schedule when they air their shows, I think I've concluded that this is the best way to watch any show that builds from episode to episode. Not considering the cost of the DVD sets, that is We still have the rest of Futurama Season III to watch (especially given that the Season IV release is on the horizon). And, then there's the Simpsons seasons I-IV. But, does anyone have any highly recommended sets to consider? If you could get only one DVD set, which would you buy?
