We have Buffy 1-4, which is as far as we plan to go with that one. Future plans include Firefly, the first couple or so of Angel, and maybe one of Bones.

Good for you to stop before Buff jumped the Vamp Shark. Not that the latter seasons didn't contain a few gems (such as The Body or Once More With Feeling), but man... I've never had the love of a show taken away from me with such brutal force as what the makers of Buffy did in seasons 5-7.

Walt Disney Treasures Sets - "The Chronological Donald, Vol 1 and 2," "Mickey Mouse In Living Color, Vol 2" (There's a widescreen copy of "Mickey's Christmas Carol" on the second disc), "Mickey Mouse In Black and White, Vol 2" These are great sets! I have the Rarities set and borrowed the Behind the Scenes set from the library. Everything you could possibly want! I love both old animation and pre-evil Disney (though that definition may be loose), so they've hit wonderfulness squared in my mind. "Hoanblowah!" I love those. They're not awfully much like the books, but I still love them. Oooh, two more people who like them! They're great, but I agree, especially as time went on he was a completely different character. (Archie, anyone? A character who had ONE LINE in the books?) I do wish they'd kept his neuroses along with his genius. As for the topic: For someone who watches a lot of DVDs, I don't have many. Just Firefly and Futurama seasons 1 and 3 (they were out of season 2 at the store when I wanted to buy it). The "someday I'll buy them" list is getting longer and longer: Are You Afraid of the Dark, House, The O.C. (season one only!), Blackadder, maybe Corner Gas, Jeeves & Wooster, Horatio Hornblower, Made in Canada, more Futurama, Sports Night . . . the list goes on and on, and those are just the ones available so far on DVD.

Currently only Firefly, Pride and Prejudice, and Horatio Hornblower. I'm eying up The Muppet Show, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Doctor Who, and House.

I've got Futurama Season 1, which I found at a walmart for the fantastic price of $20.
The Clerks cartoon series DVD, also on sale for $9
And last but not least, 24 Season 1, a gift from some nice friends which I haven't touched yet because merely viewing so much as 5 minutes of one episode would obligate me to a twenty hour marathon.
As far as what I want, I'd really love to collect all the MST3K DVDs someday (despite the massive amounts of debt that could possibly entail) and the rest of Futurama. Some South Park wouldn't hurt either.

Firefly Buffy S1 - 7 Angel S1 - 5 Taken Futurama S1 - 4 Farscape S1 - 3 Battlestar Galactica S1 Ultraviolet
There's a few I'm tempted by, but I dunno. I don't like spending loads of money on DVDs.

I just picked up "Garfield and Friends, Vol 1," since Wal-Mart dropped the price to $19.99. It's still good stuff. I have some of the US Acres/Orson's Farm songs stuck in my head now.

The Simpson seasons 1-9 Lost seasons 1 & 2 4400 seasons 1 & 2 The Young Ones seasons 1 & 2 Bottom seasons 1-3 Little Britain season 1 The League of Gentlemen seasons 1-3... no, it has nothing in common with LXG Twin Peaks seasons 1 & 2 The Fast Show seasons 1 & 2 The Office seasons 1 & 2 In de Gloria seasons 1 & 2 (the Belgian version of Little Britain) Het Eiland seasons 1 & 2 ... I'm sure there's more but I'm too lazy to look it up 'In de Gloria' and 'Het Eiland' are Belgian comedies, here is a nice little clip dubbed in English: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsK1GpnM0kk

Arrested Development season 1 Battlestar Galactica seasons 1 and 2 Coupling (BBC version) season 1, 2, and maybe 3 (I can't remember) The Wire seasons 1-3
Netflix has really cured me of any desire to want to own a lot of full DVD sets. The Wire and Battlestar are the only sets I've bought since joining Netflix.

I've gone back and forth about The Wire for a while now. I've never watched it myself, but have heard phenomenal things from evreyone who's seen it. Normally that in and of itself wouldn't have me chomping at the bit, but BJs has each season in stock for $22.99. Decisions, decisions...
