Arg, I really do want to watch this show, but was on an airplane when it aired on Monday.
So, what did I miss (again)?

Okay, real quick: Jack infiltrated the hospital basement and faced down TerrorDad, who was shot (and killed) at the last second by Behrooz. Way to leave that information source alive, kid. Having met his end of the deal, Jack pumped TerrorMom for info, but she had claimed to know more than she actually did... all she could tell him was the location of the terrorist meeting place. Jack and Tony went there and found (under the floorboards) the planning center for the nuclear highjack and the SoD's kidnapping. They also found a link between the terrorists and -- dun dun DUN -- Jack's girlfriend's husband. He tells her, she calls him and says she was too hasty before, she wants to give reconciliation a shot. She goes to his room against Jack's orders and keeps him busy (no, not THAT way) until Jack and his team bust in and take him into custody. Probably the end of that marriage, I'm thinking.
Meanwhile, Jack had sent Tony back to CTU to escort Behrooz and TerrorMom (and guaranteed him reinstatement, later approved by Driscoll). Curtis interrogates Sherri 2.0, who doesn't know anything specifically but knows a building (that only she and her dead boss can access, natch) where there's computers she could get info from. She wants to cut a deal, so Curtis explains the terms to her: if the info is good, she gets to live. Good deal. Curtis takes her there with a squad, but it's a trap- terrorists kill the squad, shoot Sherri 2.0 dead (poor showing... Sherri 1 lasted three seasons), and take Curtis hostage.
Oh, and Driscoll apologizes to that chick she thought was the traitor and asks her to put aside her own feelings and come back to work to help save the country. Because a nice apology does wonders to clear up intensive tasering, Computer Girl (man, I really am terrible with names) agrees, but later negotiates (blackmails) herself a promotion out of it. Nice. Edgar whines about his dead mom for a sec, then gets back to work.
And... I think that's it. At the end of the episode, Jack has just captured AllegedTerrorHusband, Tony is pretty much reinstated, the computer geeks are back to work (minus Chloe, but she's too bitchy to be gone for good), and Curtis has been captured by the terrorists. Next week, we can look forward to TerrorMom's interrogation and some other stuff I've already forgotten. Man, I suck at this.

oh, man.
*spoilers*
that episode last night was easily one of the best of the season, and just super-swiggity-sweet television regardless.
what was the best? the final reveal of the ctu replacement (which we all saw coming, but still?). the revelation of how far corporate stooges will go to keep their jobs and lives intact? the jack bauer headbutt? the fact that jack and paul have solidified into a fairly effective team just an hour or so after jack was torturing paul with a lamp cord and electrical socket? the previews for next week, where jack and an injured paul prepare to take on an entire armed team of swat-like security forces?
oh, man. i can't even believe how good 24 is getting; i just punched my dog IN THE FACE. love the jack bauer power hour!
