MRFH has gotten some unusual traffic over the past couple days, and I'm curious if any of you know why. Typically, we spike highest on Wednesdays/Thursdays, then go down on Fri/Sat/Sun. However, on THIS week, the hits kept going up day after day, Thursday being high, Friday being abnormally high (by about 60-70 visitors) and Saturday hitting well over 500 visitors, which is unheard of.
All I can tell is that a lot of visitors are coming into the site through the 6th Annual Mutant Award pages, but since they didn't first hit the index page, I have no way to tell what site they came from (and probably linked to us). So if anyone has any idea if there's a site out there that recently linked to the AMA, please let me know. Curiosity and all that.

Maybe people heard y'all were hiring and came running from far and wide. Because you know, being on the internet is the same thing as being famous. Close enough, anyways.

I was going to suggest that maybe someone let loose with a bunch of MRFH business cards at a convention or something, but that would then mean that the incoming traffic would be coming through the main website, right?

The other day... yesterday, I believe... FARK.com had a survey about "worst way to die in cinema." Well, it was just a survey. But there was a little link next to it, because everything on FARK has a link, and when I clicked said link, it opened up Poolman's part of the Mutie Awards (I think) relating to deaths. Go look on that day on Fark and you should see a survey somewhere.

Ahhh... for assuming that you had to resort to begging for a link from Fark... wasn't sure if that was taken as an insult... ya know, having to beg to be FARK'd ;D
