Yup, I saw that. At first, I didn't see he was a Scientologist, so I thought, "Ah, he's finally sticking up for all the times SP slandered Christianity or Blanetology or what have you." But no, he's upset 'cause Tom Cruise got outed. It's a weird world.

I guess that episode, Where they spoofed Scientology was too much. Chef was my one of my favorite characters so I'm a little upset about that. But I'm sure the show will be fine the new season have had some of there best episodes yet. i am sorry for my grammar

South Park has always provided equal opportunity for everyone and every organization to get made fun of. For Isaac Hayes to get his panties in a twist over that fantastic episode making fun of Tom the nutjob is just ridiculous. Chef needs to get some thicker skin....I guess he did in the last episode when they turned him into Darth Chef.

This is something that severely bugs me, and I don't even watch the show. I guess I can't say anything that hasn't already been said multiple times... But you've got to learn to laugh at yourself. From what I've seen and read of Scientology, that's their main problem... they can't take a joke about themselves.

Yes. That is exactly their problem and Islamic extremists problem (i.e. Comedy Central not airing the image of Mohammad).
But in Scientology's defense: if I belonged to a religion based on the writings of a famous Science Fiction writer who wrote about mankind being filled with the spirits of an exterminated alien race (called Thetans) I'd be a little touchy too.
You ever want to know more about the religion let me know. I did a report on it in highschool...I didn't get in too deep but let's just say me and my buddy (I wrote the report with) figured that it's a big, tax-free, pyramid scheme.

LOL. Went to a Christian school too, huh?
I also did one of those reports. Plus my Dad is a pastor, so he has about a billion books on "alternative religious movements."

Yep 7th day Adventist actually. I was always trying to, you know, push the boundaries...and we had this teacher that was a permanent sub for the other teacher...it was just a good time. But me and the drug supplier for the whole school got really into it. Watched a laser disc at the church and a whole bunch of other stuff. He was super smart and we both asked a lot of questions and were not really appreciated at the church:) They take their "religion" very seriously. And really hate psychology...I mean they really hate it.
