Anyway, I chose SpongeBob and Patrick more than anything because I think the show is very funny often, sometimes brilliant, well acted - voice wise, incredibly artistic, and I like it. Ren and Stimpy may have had the more classic (and confusing) relationship - but SpongeBob and Patrick will have their day, they're more like Scooby and Shaggy than Ren and Stimpy are. I think they resemble classic duos better. But in a way, perhaps that strengthens R&S's duo since they are unconventional... Anyway, I decide it in the formula sense - let's stick closer to what works best.

I think that Ren and Stimpy deserve to win because they are more provocative,interesting and Artsy.

Provocative in relation to Ren & Stimpy can only mean = disgusting
Interesting = sickening
Artsy = over-the-top
This show was enough to redefine all those terms...

I had Cast My Vote for Ren & Stimpy,because I too had Grew Up w/ them & that is where I stand on this ...
