So yes, it's actually happening. They're gonna remake the series on NBC. Has anybody heard any rumors, conjecture, or otherwise to suggest suckitude or face-rockage?

Well, it's produced by David Eick and has Katie Sackhoff costarring as the show's antagonist, so that alone has got me watching for at least a few episodes. Michelle Ryan also seems rather easy on the eyes, so that'll likely book me for a couple more.
Rumor has it that there's a few clips buzzing around the internet, too, though I haven't seen them.

There's a 5 minute preview floating around, either on NBC's website or Youtube. Probably both.
If you're not in the know, David Eick is one of the 2 executive producers behind the current Battlestar Galactica series. Katee Sackhoff plays one of the main characters.
I saw the preview and it seemed like it could be entertaining. The only thing I worry about is that I hear they're doing some drastic changes between the pilot and the series. They've recast the younger sister (who I believe played Ann on Arrested Development, so it's not like she sucks). I wonder if changes were made at the behest of the network suits.

Just saw the pilot. The actress playing Jamie does nothing for me. Katee Sackhoff is great, though. The pacing seemed a bit odd and it was very expositional, but that might just be because it's a pilot. I'll give it a few episodes before I decide if I should stick with it.
