Well I can understand them not bringing over EVERY game, simply due to cultural reasons. I am terrified of the day when I will see through a glass case for sale in my local gaming store...
SUPER HAPPY LUCKY DANCE DANCE DRAGON SCHOOLGIRL FIGHT ALPHA III!!!

well, level 9 is pretty hard.
up until this point, i was coasting along and screaming "i am invincible!" like john mayer over and over again. my neighbors hate me now.
however, level 9 is TOUGH. i have the silver arrows and the compass, but those blue ghosts are crazy. what's going on? and a set of drawers just ate me and digested my magic shield. DAMMIT.

That's what you've got to admire about old-school video games... the monsters would actually steal your expensive crap or send you back to the friggin' beginning of the dungeon. Nowadays they'd just take half a heart and swipe a couple of bombs. Tossing in my $0.02, I'll say that I also found RE1 difficult to get the hang of controlling, but that it (and especially MGS) more than rewarded my efforts in the long run. I'm a little down on RE after the Silent Hill series showed me how scary a true horror game can be, but still... really innovative for its time. The first time a Hunter jumped out of nowhere and decapitated me, I just about wet myself. -D
