I was in my local EB Games (well, one of them) the other day, chatting with the manager who looks just like the manager at the other store, and we both agreed that the megacorps of the videogame industry need to get off their collective flabby duffs and release some compilations of all the old classic arcade stuff they're just sitting on. I know there are a couple of Midway collections for the PS2, and Capcom has some stuff for the PC, but a lot of great games are still being neglected.
As an alternative, there should be some sort of iTunes-style arrangement that could make MAME roms stop being quasi-illegal in a never-enforced kind of way.

Yea, when I become super mega uber rich, the first thing I'm buying is dual screen arcades to xmen, simpsons, tmnt and the d&d side scroller rpg for my pool table room den thingy.
