I saw this article and thought it might intrigue a few of you: newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=869ed39e67d5264d22772406cbce91da&threadid=11176Yes, apparently Dynamic Forces is coming out with an Army of Darkness comic book. At the very least, this will drum up some publicity and possibly reignite interest in Evil Dead 4. That second pic is awesome, too. Ash definitely has the chin, and it looks like they kept the scars, too. He also has that crazy Campbellesque look in his eyes. Any thoughts?

Pfft. Good luck. Have you SEEN comic prices lately?
Oh, I hate to ask, but is this a comic, or a graphic novel?
(see Rich? I'm being good!)

Given that it reads as Army of Darkness #1, and is selling for $2.99 (your optimism is refreshing but sadly mistaken, Justin); I'd say it's gonna be an ongoing comic, as opposed to a graphic novel.

Only if it came with the Baron Sengir card...only then is it worth anything.

Not so much optimism as a quote from Running Man / RoboCop.

Actually my Homelands book I love dearly and never would give it away. It has beautiful artwork by Rebecca Guay, and a fantastic story that is not only wonderful in and of itself but also fits together all of the cards into the set without screaming "I'm a card!"

Ahhh, we just grabbed up the paperback books (I hadn't realized that there were graphic novels out as well). Probably a good thing, otherwise I would have spent even more money on my MTG collection

Yeah, I remember the Homelands comic - it had really good artwork. As a matter of fact, there is some hella good art work on a lot of those magic cards, and was part of the reason I was so into them for a while. That and the extreme capitalist system that revolved around the collecting of the cards in my town.
