Hahahaha that's pretty funny. Between the time i read the post, and the time i read the page, all I could think was "Would a middle aged Ash be entertaining?"...He probably would be.

I dunno, he's gained some weight.... did you see Spidey 2 yet? Still funny, but I can't really see him in another action role.

Just saw Spiderman 2. I agree, Bruce Campbell's cameo is funny and a lot better than his cameo in the first movie. But I think he could do another action role (after all, couldn't Bubba Ho-tep be considered an action movie?), he would just need Ash become more cantankerous than smart-mouth. Maybe he could yell at zombies to get off his lawn while he sits in a rocking chair on the porch.

after all, couldn't Bubba Ho-tep be considered an action movie? That depends entirely on your definition of "action". If characters moving at two miles per hour, tops, while moaning about growths on their genitals is your idea of action... well, um... I need to go now. |

Well, there IS a mummy who eats people's souls, and the final showdown is pretty action packed, even for a duo of octogenarians and a slow mummy. Oh, and only ONE character complains about a growth on their genitals. Get the facts straight  hahaha. Bubba Ho-tep is just as much an action flick as it is horror, comedy, or drama. |
