Well, it appears that this nation's coolest state has once again been the forerunner of a national trend. For years, Jersey natives have been treated to a biannual magazine charting the state's various bizarre happenings, from haunted houses and prisons to UFO sightings and satanic cults, called Weird NJ. Last year the authors released a book collecting some of their favorite discoveries, also titled Weird NJ, and followed it up several months ago with Weird US, exploring similar oddity throughout the nation. And now, it would seem that the franchise bus has come a-callin', with local authors from three more states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida) releasing their own Weirdbooks, all featuring forewards by the Weird NJ guys. So Sue, you may get some national exposure for the Hodag yet. search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=uF7z7eAAqp&isbn=0760759448&itm=9-D
