" You idiot! You own a Macintosh. The file is f**king gone!! "
I love that spoof. Although the Macintosh "Gaming" one is also really good.

What are you, INSANE? Between Pooly trying to convert us to the metric system and Rich telling us that we drive on the wrong side of the road, I fear this week. Guess it's time for me to pull out my survival kit of SPAM and Tom Jones records, and just hope for the best.

That's it! It's thirty decaliters of castor oil for you, Uber!
Hm. "Metric Overlord". I could get used to that.

Thirty decaliters, Poolman? How long would it take someone to drink that? More importantly, how much would 300 liters of castor oil cost?
The SI Sorcerer strikes again! Take that, Metric Overlord.

Ah, you've studied your metric prefixes. That's good. You'll be well prepared when the invasion begins.
Or did you think 8 mm film was just a coincidence?

Ah, engineering educations are great, aren't they? Technically, I've been studying SI...I'm not sure where the difference is between that and metric. Does anyone know off-hand?

Offhand, the one difference I remember is the standard of temperature. In countries that use the metric system, temperature is measured and reported in the Celsius scale. However, the SI system uses Kelvin to measure and report temperature. Although 1 Kelvin = 1 degree Celsius, the offset for zero is 273 (I believe), where 0 Kelvin is absolute zero, and 0 degrees Celsius is the freezing point of water at 1 atmosphere of pressure.
Of course, it's been a long time since dealing with such measurements, so I might just be talking out of my butt.

No Uber, that's exactly correct. 0 Kelvin is -273 Celsius, and the degrees are the same "size".
What's "SI" stand for? Damn my Canadian heritage!
