That's by Starship, aka Jefferson Starship, aka Jefferson Airplane. Not exactly a one hit wonder group.  (Although the mighty have fallen, since they played in my town a few years ago. Pop. 8,000.) Heh. While visiting my cousins in Traverse City, MI a couple years back, we attended a Loverboy concert that the city hosted for free. We were ALL workin' for the weekend that night! -D Oh yeah. We've had Loverboy here. From huge stadiums to "Canal Days". It's really quite sad when you think about it. |

While I would argue that since they changed their name and by the time they were Starship all the original members were gone, it wouldn't matter anyway. They had another #1 with Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now, which was in the movie Mannequin, in... 1987. |

We Built This City on Rock and Roll!! No way, that's not even their biggest hit. "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" was another big hit. (After reading the page 2 replies-) Mannequin was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I think I'll go with Thomas Dolby - "She Blinded Me with Science" |
