Hahaha.... oh, Drew, that's CLASSIC.
My wife and I hired a swing DJ for our wedding. Almost everything he owned was swing or jazz, it was excellent. Sure, he had the Village People and the Bee Gees and all that usual big gathering crap, but it was saved until the wee, wee hours of the night when everyone but our closest friends had gone home.
While I'm at it, what was your first dance song, Drew? Our was Harry Connick Jr's "It Had to Be You", straight from When Harry Met Sally (without the weird symphonic opening).

My vote for worst song - "Girls and Boys" by Good Charlotte.
Maybe it's not the absolute worst, but what the heck, it's prissy and shallow and I hate it.

Are you serious Drew? The D.J actually played My Humps at your wedding? Why? Why would any one think it would be appropiate to play a song about Gold digging at someone's wedding? Man,Thats mean. Actually, while "My Humps" has lyrics that suggest gold digging, a more appropriate song to use that response for would be "Gold Digger." But that's not a bad song. I think. Eh. My vote for worst song... honestly, that "Invisible" song by Clay Aiken. I don't care if the man's from North Carolina, I'm not going to support any of that crap. And there's several "girl groups" that have sprung up that are ruining music as we know it. As well as the credibility of good girl groups. And I also hate "Ohio Is For Lovers" by Hawthorne Heights. I made a T-shirt recently that had the outline of Ohio, with the words "Ohio Is For Crappy Screamo." That's how I feel about it.

Well, I think it was because of the two people our DJ met with ahead of time, one of them who shall remain nameless but wasn't me gave him the idea that because we had a lot of young twentysomethings in attendance (incurably white though they may be), some old-school hip-hop toward the end of the night might be cool. Now, as to how the DJ then made the leap of logic from knowing we're down with O.p.p. to thinking we wanted to hear a song by the chick who got so drunk before a concert she peed herself on stage... well, there your guess is as good as mine. (And Poolie -- you incurable romantic, you -- our first song was Have A Little Faith In Me by John Hiatt. Always loved that one.) -D

"Dontcha" by the Pussycat Dolls makes me gag. I think you have to just watch the video for it, damage, to keep from gagging. With the sound off, ideally. -D

Wow, what's with all the Green Day, Simple Plan and Good Charlotte bashing? Especially from somebody with the handle 'Blinkfan'?
Worst song of all time? Without any question in my mind, 'The Song That Doesn't End' by Shari Lewis. It is firmly my opinion that unleashing this source of unspeakable evil upon millions of kids at the end of 'Lambchop's Play-along' daily that contributed karmically to her untimely death. Yes, I went there.
Yeah, 'My Humps' sucks too.

I have No problem with Good Charlotte second off I do not Like Green day because They Take Credit from other bands. I do Respect them. and I hate Simple Plan because they put out the EXACT same song. every time. And Don't Label Me to one genre of music because my name is BlinkFan I like many other bands.Would you still object to my bashing of Green Day or Simple Plan if my handle was say "NirvanaFan" Or "RamonesFan" Which I am a huge fan of both. and Yes My humps does suck
