Yes, gamming is an invented alteration making the noun "gams" into a verb. "Gams" are indeed the back of a woman's leg, but they are the fleshy part lower behind the shin, not on the thigh. However, that term was a colloquialism that has not been used since 1955.... which makes me wonder if this guy is Brendan Fraser's twin brother from Blast From the Past. One question to confirm - has he ever used the term "moxy" to describe a particularly energetic person? ;D

Mary Poppins?!? Surely not. Look at these affronts to God in that movie: - dining on the ceiling, a clear insult to the Lord's laws of gravity - a flying housemaid... further disrepect to Old Man Gravity, plus children could emulate this, leaping off rooftops with umbrellas! - sassing your elders - substituting sugar for medicine? Blasphemy! I'm going to boycott this movie RIGHT NOW!!! ---------------From CAP: Mary Poppins was a delightful romp for children and the young at heart through a make-believe world of frolic and fantasy. There were no instances of offensive material throughout the movie. While there were several occurences of "magic," there was nothing evil or sinister about any of the "magic." Mary could have been angelic. While some might consider the "We won't go to sleep!" from Michael to Mary Poppins to be arrogance and/or impudence, the obstinence was NOT at his parents. All instances of Jane and Michael taking issue with parental authority (e.g., the song) were with respect and even apology. I cannot find in the Bible anywhere God has a problem with children disagreeing with their parents but I can find a LOT of warnings against arrogance toward and rebellion against parents -- a LOT -- and with severe consequences ... and even more severe consequences for parents who abuse the authority and position He gave them. ------------------------ www.capalert.com/capreports/marypop/marypop.htmIn other words, the reviewer (coincidently the president of CAP) saw this when he was a kid and liked it.

Odd that they dismiss Poppins' magic so easily but still have the bug up their butt take the stick up their butt and beat Gandalf with it.

Yeah, especially since Gandalf is an angel in the Tolkien universe. What can you do? People are crazy.

Personally, having come from a strict religious background, including graduating from a private Christian school, I -still- think the good folks at CAP are out of their tiny little anally retentive minds.
I'm torn on favorite quotes though. My top two choices are - "'rooster fight' rabblery" It just flows. Someone could write a song around that.
and
"somewhat graphic scenery of gutting and butchering fish" Do they actually know what some of the disciples did as their day job?
