Great article. One of my recent favs is from the DVD box of the Woody Allen opus "Anything Else".
"Jason Biggs is great in Anything Else!"
Not only does it sound like a total backhanded compliment, trying to encourage us to view other works from the Biggs vaults as an alternative to this junk, but it's not even accurate, as he has yet to be "great" in anything.

Disagree. I thought Jason Biggs rocked in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Actually, I thought he was really good in Loser, too. The movie still sucked, true, but I thought he himself was likeable and did a good job with the role. And yes. I third the above comment.

This makes me think of something in one of Dennis Miller's rants. I think he was complaining about crappy movies. Paraphrased, it goes something like this: "If a critic said 'All those responsible for a film deserve to be put in a gas chamber!' the studio would release the blurb as 'a gas!'"
