Which is something of a major event, seeing as how he began college roughly the year I did!
Congrats, Kyle!
"A lot of people go to college for 7 years."
"Yeah. They're called 'Doctors'."

AND it's his birthday today. Which leads me to say:
Happy Birthday Kyle! I hope it's awesome! And has girls! With boobs!

Happy birthday Kyle and congrats. By the way, who do you have as your avatar? I was going to say James Dean, but I'm not sure.

HUZZAH FOR KYLE!
Welcome to the real world where, despite your dreams of fame, fortune, and solid-gold rocket cars, you will have your ambition and aplomb crushed beneath bills and taxes and the unbearable weight of reality and suddenly you're a year out of college and working at a bookstore for a piddling eight dollars an hour with no free time and ever-shrinking chances of returning to grad school in the near future. I'm sorry, did I just go off on a tangent?
Seriously, dude, good for you. Congrats.
Al

Another hearty huzzah! for Kyle.
My brother just graduated too, and soon so will I. "Soon" being a relative term, in this case meaning "in two years." Sigh.

Congratulations, Kyle! Gonna get a job right away, or just buy an old van and follow Grant Morrison around for a few months first? ;D One word of advice- if you have a fun, if unchallenging, not well paying, and kinda boring summer job and someone offers you a real, year-round job that pays somewhat better (though still badly) and is in your field of supposed expertise... stick with the summer job! It's a trick!- the other one is just as boring, plus it's an actual 9-to-5, scary adult type thing with actual work and responsibility and stuff, that you could conceivably get fired from. And the cute girl you were dating at the old place will dump you... and even though she'll say she wants to stay friends afterwards, she's lying and won't return your calls or e-mails until you finally take the hint after a month or two, and you won't feel better until almost 2 years later when you come back in to get one of the free flu shots the university's offering with your new, prettier girlfriend and breeze right by her. And... wait, am I projecting again? Oh well, congrats again, Kyle. Enjoy the summer... and don't fall into the trap! -D

Happy birthday Kyle and congrats. By the way, who do you have as your avatar? I was going to say James Dean, but I'm not sure. I'm not Kyle, but it looks like Patrick McGoohan as Number Six on The Prisoner.
