GAH! Missed my 1337 post! Damn! Ah well. I'm not into the whole screenshot thing, like they do on PA. It's all people with little screenshots of when they hit 666 or 1000 or 1337 posts. Kinda weird hobby, if you ask me. Yeah, because the screenshot thing misses the quality of the moment when you're looking at someone's number of posts and you see "1337." I mean, it's much better when you don't see it coming. By the way, I'm going to win the 666 challange. I know it!

The bit that I don't get is that Red whatsit didn't reappear to see if we commented at all upon his initial post - perhaps a grovelling acknowledgement that he is of course 100% correct and we are always wrong (Royal we there, Republican we for those of us not under the Crown).
And what, pray tell, is Farked? Is this some new way of bypassing the non-existent filters?

Farked - To have a link to your website posted on Fark.com. Generally brings on a huge spike in traffic. People who frequent Fark also typically will substitute Fark for another 4-letter F-word. And if you're looking for a way to waste a few hours during work, check out Fark. Just don't click on anything NSFW (Not Safe For Work - they mean it).

Farked. I lof it. I think I'll use it regularly to confuse the puny mortals that I call my friends!
Commenting on the "13 year old with crippled hands" remark... I completely agree. It is so annoying when all you see on a post is something like this gem I ran across at IMDb.com:
Ino every1 keeps sayin these r all rumours but does neone no 4 sure if there is going to be girls from ages 11-14 in the movie? Everyone keeps messin with my head on this and i really want to no!!!!!!!!!
That was concerning casting rumors for Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I dare you to decipher it!

When I see people who say things like "ne1 no if ur h0x0rz" or something like that, and they're not joking or making fun of it, I get very angry and hope that I'll be 18 soon so I won't be a bona fide teenager anymore.

You realize 18 and 19 still count as teenage, right?

Technically, yes, but in the same way a 10 year old is. Socially, a teenager is really between about 12-18 years old.

10-12 are never teenagers. You can play around with other age group names, but "teen" is right there in the number.

You realize 18 and 19 still count as teenage, right? At least in my experience, 18 or 19 is about the age when your hormones have simmered down some and you can return to adult interaction that isn't punctuated by slamming doors. It's a good age to shoot for. Al

I make it a personal habit to NEVER wish to be older, Jellybean. The nice thing about wanting to be older is that you will eventually get there. The problem is that you can never be younger again. Just appreciate the time you've got.
