I just did via PM, but hey... congrats!
Relax and enjoy- especially the honeymoon. (Not just that way, people.) Tylenol PM is good- or a lot of wine. (We liked the wine approach.) Relax. Seriously. The details are just that now- details. (Just, erm, don't forget the ring and the liscence.) Make sure you get cake. Justin- make sure Pooly gets cake. This is important. (Especially if it comes with ice cream.) Seek him out with a plate of cake in your hand and make sure he gets it. An appalling number of brides and grooms don't eat a piece of their own wedding cake.

You know what time I'm getting up tomorrow morning for my flight to Vancouver? 4am. 4. God doesn't even get up that early.
I'll remember the cake thing.

Just so nobody whose opinion I care about thinks I'm a total jackass for not contributing anything to the official Poolman gets married feature, be it hereby declared that I decided to make my feelings known to Mr. Poole off the public radar and just between us because I tend to get a little weepy and overly wordy when it comes to people I love being in love. So to spare you all from that, and because I wanted to keep in private, be assured that I have sent Sean my well wishes and they are overflowing with gigantic, mushy, squishy, girly, sentimental love. That is all.

Congrats Poolman!
The wine approach is good for many things, isn't it?
As a matter of perspective, 4 a.m. is when I get my last break in the day.

Congratulations Poolman, you have come one step closer to becoming truly civilized (now we just need to get you into some pants for God's sake!). What do I mean by truly civilized? Well it seems it is time for another BladeStarr patented Bloviation™. Trust me, I will try to make this as painless as possible: All humans are creatures of the procreative nature, which means that their primary motivation in life is to perpetuate their genes into the future generations. As a result of this, men who have millions of sperm produced daily, by nature desire to impregnate as many women as possible. This is how they ensure their genes continue. Women by their biological nature have only one egg released about every month or so, and thus have a strong desire to make sure that their few chances at procreation survive. Thus they desire safety and protection of their few young. This is the origin of civilization: women convincing men that monogamy and peace are good ideas. While we are intelligent now beyond our base impulses (which allows us to act beyond these natural urges and desire differently than the biological urges compell us to), I would argue that women are in fact the source of civilization as we know it, and you my friend are lucky to have moved up in the realm of civilized man to accept at least the first proposition of woman: monogamy is a good idea. So congratulations again, and I am glad to see yet another male 'enlightened' by a female, one day it will be all of us, I hope! And to tie this into the site's focus on movies, I bring you to one of my favorite movie quotes of all time. If you can honestly look at your significant other and say these words, you were meant to be: "I love you. You... complete me. " -Jerry Maguire

PoolMan, just remember these immortal words:
Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come. -- Matt Groening, Love is Hell
Ah, sweet pity. Where would my love life have been without it? -- Homer Simpson
Congratulations! ;D

You know, I've could've posted something here earlier this afternoon, but I abstained. I theorize that I was subconsciously motivated thus, by a desire to wait for Bladestarr to post an enormous philisophical quasi-trivialization of love that features the word "sperm" right out there in front, and tells us how we all need to become women.
Now my post gets to look tiny and insignificant by comparison! Yes! I have post-envy!
Anyway, a big pantload of congrats to you, Pooly. I might genuinely relate to the nuptial journey you're on the brink of, were it not for the fact that I'm so very swinging and single. And by that I mean single.
As for a relevant movie quote, here's one of my favorites:
"There is a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. 'Twould be a pity to damage yours."
I tell ya, it doesn't get any more romantic than that. Oh, I'm getting all misty...

Weddings, weddings, everywhere!
With a whole bunch of my friends either getting married or engaged recently, I can only assume that there's something in the air this year thats making everyone just giddy with the lurve.
I wish you and your good lady nothing but the very best together, and I'm sure you'll make each other very happy.
I'm going to have to cut this short now because I'm getting all emotional. I always cry at weddings...
- Rich But in a manly way, you understand.

To the Mr. & Soon-to-be Mrs. Poolfolk:
Be excellent to each other. And party on dudes. Keep it simple. A successful relationship isn't 50% / 50%. It's 100% / 100%. Make sure to take occasional time away from everyone else to remind you two of how much you love one another.
Have fun, congratulations and much love to you both. Uber

May your wedding be full of joy, happiness, and laughs--and your marriage even more so! Don't let Justin fall asleep into the cake, but if he does, take pictures. And post them when you get back. And remember (Lissa, I'm surprised you didn't quote this): "Oh, above all things, I believe in love. Love is like oxygen. Love is a many-splendored thing, love lifts us up where we belong--all you need is love!" Because a life without love...that's terrible.
