We've all taken the blue pill here... we want to remain in the Nexus... er, Matrix.
Or was that the red pill?
Aw, who needs to do research?

This thread is the best thread ever.
Come back JasonKelp, I love you! Tell me what else you love! I want to subjectively review that so I can have a 4 post diatribe about my inconsistencies!!!
Please...

Obviously, you don't WANT to understand. Less "want," more "care." By the way, if you use the word "obviously" just three more times, you qualify for a free set of steak knives!

Well, obviously nobody here wants to understand or to try to understand my point. The thing is... in eight posts and what has to be literally thousands of words... if we truly still don't understand, isn't the onus on the author of those posts? Oh heck, I always thought Nexus was a brand of hair care products anyway. Or is that Nexuus? Not that Picard had to worry about that.

So you think that someone who is ready to destroy a few solar systems (one of which he is IN at the time) is going to worry about what happens to his ship after he's sucked into the Nexus?

I'm not an expert, but I was confused by Sue's comment in the Nemesis review -
"Data was... how do I say this... a little too emotional. I'm sorry, did anyone WATCH the series? Canon anyone? Hello?"
Didn't Data get an emotion chip in the Generations movie?

Yes, and I have to say I liked him better before. It turned him into a complete twit.

Hear, hear. "Emotionless, trying to be human" Data was always more fun and more engaging than "Jackass with an emotion chip so Brent Spiner can do something new" Data.

Somewhat off-topic, but am I the only one amused/confused at this thread's revival?

I would like an explanation for how Kirk's hair goes from blond and straight to black and curly TOS - Movies. Walter K (chekov) says the lights on the bridge frizzled it.
