on the strong advice of my friends luke and amber, as well as the weak advice of countless others, i finally decided to join the blogging brigade. and one entry in, i already feel a lot more attractive and confident! i hope it affects my posture next!
to all of those here who have livejournals and or webpages posted in their profiles, let me apologize: i have probably visited your webpages and left well-intentioned but undoubtedly bizarre comments in my wake. insomnia is to blame, along with red bull and the crazy heat of summer that makes you take naps at the hottest part of the day (3-4:00 p.m.) so that no matter how much you drink/party/other, when you get home you won't be able to sleep and can only click around on the internet, bleary-eyed and near-suicidal, searching relentlessly for fresh content. ah, california lifestyle.
but, really, if you didn't want strange yet handsome, bizarre yet witty rabble-rousers poking through your xanga space daydreams and livejournal rants, you probably shouldn't have offered up links in the first place. i will say the forums crew at mrfh is a highly eceletic and creative bunch, and i'm proud to call you the group of people i consult for advice on shoes and ipods. i think i may cry.
kyle
i love you all. check out my journal: www.livejournal.com/users/kylerexpop/
p.s. i edited the mild profanity i used for humor's sake in my first entry, since i know how pg we all are around here. in the future, though, i plan to use my background as a naval dropout to full effect. this is your only warning!
p.p.s. - funkymartini brings up a point that i'd also like addressed, if possible: what sort of qualities do you look for in a blog that you can tell me about, so that i can emulate them in my own journal thing and get chicks and accolades by the truckload? should i namedrop? should i appear pretentious and arrogant, or just highly inquisitive and clearly opinionated? help me help you help me!
