Not trolling for praise here, just some feedback on this year's title banners (the ones on the front page that we change every month). You can look over the archive of the title banners here and here. Questions: (1) Which month's banner do you like the most? Why? (2) Which one do you like the least? Why? (3) Should I use the standard MRFH "Adventure/Indiana Jones" font on ALL title banners, or should I also try to find fonts that go with the movie that we're using a picture from (as I did with Ghostbusters and Clerks)? (4) What movies would you really like to see made into a title banner in upcoming months? Are there any large (at least 600 pixels wide) pictures on the web you could point me to to use?

While I REALLY liked the 2004 banner with all the movies on it, I also like the idea of using a different movie each month. I think that the Indiana Jones font works just fine for most of the movies, because most movies don't really have a font that 'defines' them. Clerks and Ghostbusters would be two exceptions, so I think you did a good job with those. However I would have used the Star Wars font for the Star Wars banner since it's more iconic. Final word on that is distinct and unique. If a movie has a certain font that almost everyone recognizes as being from that movie, then use it. Otherwise I think the Adventure font works just fine. Favorite banner: The Princess Bride, I love how the characters are looking right at you. It'd be cool if you can find more like that. Maybe a screen shot from Ferris Bueller when he looks at the camera with that knowing grin. Least Favorite: Ghostbusters, I'm just not really a fan of the action shots for banners. I don't like that it makes them a bit blurry and I just prefer the pose/still shots, I think they work better. And here's a few that I would recommend for my 2nd favorite movie Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

Giving feedback!
1) Princess Bride, because of the looking at the reader thing. Monty Python, because of the way it just looks like it goes with the text since the background is blacked out, this is my favorite one actually.
2) Out of the movie related ones there isn't one that I don't like. I guess Freddy vs Jason is my least favorite, looks kinda dull, to me anyways.
3) The standard unless it's a particularly special movie.
4) Empire Records, though I don't have any pictures.

Of course, if the format is hard to work with, we could always make the banners taller...
...like I've been saying for a year...

The banner with all the movies on it is cool, but changing the banner every month is a really fun touch to the site.
Favorites: Since I can't pick one, I'll pick two (obviously). The Finding Nemo and Ghostbusters banners were my favourites. I like how the title surrounds the fishes on the Finding Nemo banner, and I like the action shot for Ghostbusters.
Since I picked two favourites, I'll pick two I liked the least instead of just one: the Hackers banner and the Holy Grail banner were my least favourites. They're both just too simple. I prefer the banners when they capture one scene, rather than when they use part(s) of different scenes with the black background, like those two do.
Ok, that's my two cents. The end.
