Just wanted to thank all of the staff involved for pulling together and getting this done -- and special thanks to Sue, who kept this project alive and moving for the entire YEAR it took us to get it done. We're slackers, what can we say?

I think all the sections came together great... and I don't know if they coordinated it or not, but I'm amused that my freakish eyes apparently made both Justin and PoolMan my slaves. (Now dance, monkeys, dance!) It was especially nice to finally find out what happened before Lady Luck and I arrived and after our departure... although, watching Sin City without me? Inconceivable! Nice thing about the article taking so long is, I'd honestly forgotten what I wrote, so the whole darn thing was new to me. Score! (Although -- *ahem* -- the point of the brackets around my little brian fart was so someone would fill in Lance's name for me and delete the rest; now I just look like a forgetful tool. Jerks!) -D

Hey, Sue left it that way, and I respect her wishes.

I think the entire thing came together well... and it was also quite amusing, all throughout.

I know *I* laughed a whole lot reading it. Of course, most of that has to do with the inevitable reaction people have to meeting me for the first time.
In other news...
DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Way to go, guys.

In other news... DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Heh. Drew looked a little shell shocked by that, but Lissa and I were sure that Lady Luck was going to sling him over her shoulder and bolt for the parking lot. (Actually I think every other patron there was considering bolting for the parking lot too. We be a fearsome bunch, we be.)

Sorry for the lack of updates for Friday/Saturday/Sunday, but in the spirit of the article, my wife and I went away for our one year anniversary to travel SOUTH to Canada. 'S true. Detroit is the twilight zone.
Pooly? Question. Where the heck are all the Canadians? We were traveling all over the place, and we saw maybe two glimpses of frightened faces. Like there was a whole city, and nobody there. Was Canada on a break?

Might have been, yes. We DID just have Roll Up the Rim and Win, so there's a lot of vacationing going on. What city were you in?

We were right across the border in Windsor, although we did travel abouts Ontario, and it just seemed like there were buildings but no people. It got kinda eerie after a while.

I bet it was evasive maneuver Delta. It's ALWAYS Delta. I swear, Picard didn't even have another trick up his sleeve.

He DID have the Picard Maneuver. But that was more of a fashion statement than anything else.

I loved the Picard Maneuver. I still tug on my shirt and call it that.
