i'm fascinated by fashion. and i'm curious what all you folks wear, so i can emulate you and be cool.
i can't offer any special prizes for replying, but i'll send magic karma points your way if 1) you're a girl that wears skateboarding clothes; and 2) you describe your fashion in a really "saucy" way. *schwing!*

Doesn't it cost karma points to refuse to send karma points for the sole reason of being male?
Anyway, I'm wearing khaki cargo shorts and a white undershirt right now. I was wearing a silver and gray "Hawaiian" shirt (too big for me now since I lost some weight) but I took that off.
Other clothes I have include jeans shorts, long khaki (am I spelling that right?) pants (some actually dark green), and shirts of various colors with no writing on them . Usually drab, though I have three Hawaiian shirts (one silver and gray, one black and silver, one drab green and brown...I guess they don't really qualify as Hawaiian).
For shoes I have cheap hiking boots. I also have a leather pair and a steel toe pair in case I need them for safety.
I like being able to hide my interests from people until I choose to tell them what my interests are--that's why I have no writing on my clothes--but the end result is that everyone assumes that I'm an electrical engineer who speaks German. I don't know why, it's completely wrong. I took Spanish in high school (don't remember a damn thing) and I'm an ocean engineering student. I would not fit in with the electrical crowd. Witchcraft, I say!
Speaking of which, I have some homework due tomorrow involving electric circuitry....

Since getting my new job at a radio station, I've been able to swear off Business Casual (THANK GOD) and embrace t-shirts and jeans/shorts. So, my work attire (which now very closely matches my non-work attire) usually revolves around my awesome Decepticon t-shirt. I add to this jeans or shorts, along with the obligatory Floridian Nike Sports Sandals. Sandals are a true staple of Floridian fashion, and they are worn even in the dead freezing cold of Feburary. I believe Jeb Bush signed it into law back when he gained office here.

For class, it's business casual.
When not in class, it's either cargo khakis or jeans along with interesting shirts that have interesting lettering (currently wearing my CIA shirt) or pictures of tigers and kanji symbols or one shirt from my cache of Chrstian shirts (Army of the Lord, The Passion, God Athletic Dept. and so on).
Oh, and pimped out sunglasses I only paid a dollar for.
GO YOU~!

Usually jeans, short or long depending on the time of year, and a nice, cheap Russell Athletic shirt. I always feel strange when I wear a shirt with anything more than a basic logo on it; I think because I know I'm always staring at what everyone else has emblazoned on their chests so I constantly feel like I'm being watched. The only exception is my new Dark Tower VII shirt with Roland and the Tower on it, I wear that whenever I can. I pads my feets with my ever-stylish TIVA Sandals or a nice sturdy pair of running shoes (not that I run, they're just comfortable).

Man pants (hey, they're derned comfortable) of the big, baggy jean persuasion, and shirts from tshirthell.com, and/or movie related shirts make up the majority of my clothes collection. Actually, I think they make up the entirety of my clothes collection. Wow, I don't have a whole lot of variety.

Either A) one of four pairs of jeans that are exactly the same except for color and the fact that one has a hole in the knee, B) a baggy pair of men's camos, or C) a short plaid skirt. Shut up.
Some sort of t-shirt that probably has a dead rock star on it.
Chuck Taylors or purple flip flops.
Sneer, smirk, giant smile, and/or hungover robot face.
No makeup.
Scary moplike uncombed hair.

I have four pairs of pants, all of them are black. My shirts range from black to red to yellow. One of my favorite shirts is vintage; with an old school, 60s style Batman logo/sign/whatever on it.
If i'm just relaxing at home, i wear a pair of blue pajama pants that are falling apart, and a random shirt.

My in-front-of-the-computer attire generally consists of black jersey shorts and a sexy tuft of chest hair.
For out-in-the-world, I go with white or black shorts of a generic sort, teamed with a similarly unremarkable t-shirt. Like BDC, I have a sizable collection of Christian t-shirts, along with some "walking billboard freebies," and a couple of KU Jayhawk shirts that I wear up to SMSU as often as possible. (Basically, my t-shirt fashion discernment is null. All I really care about is having my boobies covered.)
Top the ensemble off with some gaudy Bahaman-themed flip-flops, and there's me. I tend to stick with the light setup too far into the cold season, and I go back to dressing light too early.

Boobies and a sexy tuft of chest hair?
As the Japanese say:
"Dot dot dot!"

I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to clothes. I like to get stuff that stands out or isn't available in most retail places, because I don't want to run into somebody who's wearing the same thing as me. So I mostly have clothes that are designer, from overseas, or from little shops hidden away down town. I have a ton of jewellery as well.
Today was casual attire-- jeans, and this top I got from Dubai. It's a 3/4 length bell sleeve, electric blue, and has this cute picture of a girl wearing a dress and riding a bicycle, and there's a piece of lace fabric sewn in as a layer over her skirt. My sister bought it for me for christmas but she forgot to remove the $5 price tag. I love it nonetheless.
I also have about 3 pairs of shoes that I wear regularly, and the rest are really nice shoes that I don't wear because they're too nice, or don't match any clothes. I have one pair of Airwalk sneakers that I've been wearing for about 5 years now, which I got for $20 at a factory outlet. They've been to a lot of places, and they haven't completely worn out yet. I also have a pair of $10 plastic Indian sandals I bought 6 years ago when I was living in Fiji, and nobody else has them so I feel cool wearing them.

Pick any combination of these components and you have Ms. Jellybean's Everyday Look:
Bottoms: Black knee-length linen flared skirt, black bellbottom pants, blue jeans, black knee-length shorts with buckles and straps
Tops: Band T-shirt (as in marching band), black T-shirt with any given rock band, shirt saying "I Need More Cowbell", or since the weather's getting colder, any sort of long-sleeve shirt that reaches past my fingertips
Shoes: Blue Converse high-tops, all-black Converse high-tops, purple satin Converse low-tops, black Rainbow flip-flops (a necessity in Southeast NC, it's like a law to wear 'em)
Makeup is usually extreme for the people at my school, but that's because all of the sheep insist on wearing brown eyeliner and clear lip gloss. I'm talking bright pink lipstick, black eyeshadow, or any sort of brightly colored eyeshadow.
There you have it. Pair that with chin-length blond hair that looks like someone went at it with a weedeater, and that's what I grace the high school with just about every day.
As for today, a knee-length denim skirt, the purple low-tops, a long-sleeved horizontally striped shirt and a vertically striped button-down over that.

Wow... I didn't think teenagers wore ANYTHING knee-length these days.
Honestly, good for you for being different.
