An article sent to me by my friend from Kuro5hin.org... I laughed so hard... Former alcoholic and functional illiterate George W. Bush has won re-election and will retain his office as 43th President of the United States of America, despite a proven inability to pronounce the word "nuclear".
The final tally of electoral votes was updated live throughout election day, 02 November 2004, by Andrew Tanenbaum of Electoral-Vote.com, where he stayed up all night hopefully tabulating the votes, only to sob bitterly at the sheer monstrous ratf---ery of it all. He then asked to be excused to the bathroom, from which a single gunshot was later heard.
George Bush ran with Dick Cheney, soulless oil-fired robot and current Vice President of the United States. Mr. Cheney's main qualifications include playing thermonuclear chicken with the USSR and inadvertently fathering a very confused lesbian.
The pair beat out Sen. John F. Kerry and his runningmate Sen. John Edwards through fear-mongering and the time-honored tradition of banking on American stupidity.
They presented a plan throughout three Presidential Debates and one Vice-Presidential Debate to build an America that is dominated by fear, owned by corporations, and loathed worldwide.
They believe the U.S. can have a stronger economy through the technique of giving the idle rich all the money, a health care plan based on the idea of not caring for anyone's health, an energy plan co-authored by the House of Saud, and a strong presence as the world's resented playground bully. Someone's been drinking their Haterade!

Haterade? A gross overstatement.
Okay, maybe that's accurate. But what the hell. I was in a terribly bad mood that day.

Haha, yes, because if there was one thing this election was completely free of, it was Conservative propaganda.
I don't think Bush is evil. I just have a hard time understanding why people think he's capable of doing..well..anything correctly. His life is filled with mediocrity at best, and complete failure at worst.
C student in high school, managing to get into an IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL, but Oh! not because his dad has money. Don't believe that whatever you do.
Maintains a C average in college
Doing his job to...um...protect the midwest from Communist Vietnamese.
Starting up and running 3 businesses all of which went belly up under his direction.
Buying a baseball team, convincing the city use tax payer dollars to build the team a new stadium, and then selling the team once the stadium was built (since the team was now worth more) for a few million dollars profit. (technically I guess that would be an actual accomplishment, though dirty handed)
Once Governor of Texas:
There were more executions than in any other state in the Nation. Despite his claim that the death penalty is a deterrent and yet Texas also has some of the highest number of people in the prison system.
Texas was ranked in the bottom 10 in the nation for eduction.
Texas was ranked second to last in the nation in health care for children (Ya! We beat Mississippi!).
Texas was ranked last in the nation in health care for women.
Texas was ranked in the bottom 5 for overall health care.
Texas became the most polluted state in the Nation, with Houston becoming the most polluted city in the country.
All because of Bush's "leadership."
And what was his entire platform during the 2000 election:
Compassionate Conservative, pro-Environment, Health Care, and Education.
I guess I'm crazy to think that increased executions, negating pollution laws that have been in place since the 1970s, and a down turn in both eduction and health care while you are in charge of a state in no way means you are compassionate, pro-environment, for health care or education.
And that's my problem with Bush even before he became President. To go into all the problems and total incompetence, that for me, represents this Administration, I'd have to make several more posts.
And yes, I think Kerry is a douche bag. In all honesty, I had really hoped that John McCain would have won the election back in 2000. I think we'd be doing a lot better with a real Republican as President.

And you call him "dirty handed." Who cares what he got in high school? No one has asked me about my high school grades since I applied to college. Equally, what does his college GPA matter? By all accounts, after your first job or two all anyone cares about education-wise is your degree--unless of course you're scrounging for a way to feel superior to a public figure. Yes, because everyone knows there's no military presence Stateside during wartime. Most businesses fail in their first year. Yeah, no other city pays to build stadiums. If he owns it he can sell it whenever the hell he wants. What would you say if I called you evil for selling your car less than 20 years after you bought it? You say that as if it's a bad thing. (Personally, I'd bring back public hangings and let juries decide if the knot should be on the back of the neck or the side.) Texas has over 22 million residents, which is I think the second largest population in the country. Of course it will have a large prison population. I'd be very worried if it didn't. As for the rest of it, you didn't cite any statistics before and after his term as governor so it's all pretty meaningless.

Haha, yes, because if there was one thing this election was completely free of, it was Conservative propaganda. I never said the election was free of conservative propaganda, I merely meant to imply that the self-rigtheous blatherings on the sidewalks at SMSU exhibit a marked left tilt. I conjecture that the lack of conservative graffiti is due to the fact that right-wingers are all too fat and cash-loaded to bend over without toppling comically.

Hey I'm pretty spry for my size...must be my lack of cash.

If you're missing out on the vast wealth intrinsic to conservatism, you must just be doing something wrong. And whatever it is you're doing wrong, I must be doing wrong too. The other day in my Democracy class, after seeing a voting demographic chart that, in classic form, characterized righties as being fat cat sorts, I informed the teacher that I was a Republican, and politely inquired as to the location of my piece of the pie.
I suggest an informal agreement. If either of us finds the magic button that converts unactualized conservatives, such as you and I, into properly idle rich individuals, he must tell the other, and then we can both take our newfound filthy lucre, and go taunt a hobo. Or something equally cruel and appropriately lacking in social conscience.

You got a deal.
If we ever find that button I'll show you a wonderful orphanage full of adorable orphans--orphans with diseases--with a mortgage we can foreclose on. And for an encore we could tell Cratchit he's working through Christmas. It'll be great!

Ooh! Ooh! Can I use strongarm tactics to displace a bunch of honest, hard-working ranchers so that my rail line can go through?
