What the frick?

So I was perusing IMDb on a whim just a bit ago, looking up casting info for the upcoming (2009) Wolverine film; vaguely aware the whole time that I was learning things that all of the other nerds had known for years. Like, back before the movie was even announced.

Anyway, a certain entry caught my eye:

Wade Wilson/Deadpool- - - -Ryan Reynolds

Here's the thing: I really like Deadpool, and I don't particularly like Ryan Reynolds. Based on that equation, I was all set to go into petulant fanboy mode and start calling down terrible curses upon Hollywood, when I received an update from the field through my earpiece that Ryan Reynolds is in fact the absolute best actor ever for playing Deadpool and this is going to be awesome.

Thoughts? Preferably hyperbolic ones, if you don't mind.

The problem with Deadpool is that you need an actually mentally unstable actor to play him, or at the very least an actor who can play mentally unstable really well... and not the real life, unnerving mentally unstable, but funny mentally unstable. And also able to kick ass. You basically need a young Robin Williams or Jim Carrey in the body of Ryan Reynolds.
