So in h.s. we read a short story about a man who either worked in sales or was a grocer. He had written all the notes about his work, and what he wanted to change, and random ideas and whatnot in this piece of really worn paper. He was working at his desk when a gust of wind came through the open window and blew his piece of paper onto the ledge. So he climed onto the ledge to get it, and the window closed and locked behind him, and he was stuck. So he was sitting there contemplating how this piece of paper was his life's work, but how it would look like a piece of trash to anybody else. So he decides that he needs to break the window with his fist, but he only has one shot, because if it doesn't break, then his center of balance is thrown off, and he falls of the ledge and dies.
- I can't remember if the story tells wether he dies or not, it may be one of those 'what do you think happened next?' type of things, idk.
I thought this was called 'Death of a Salesman', but we're reading that now, and it's totally different. Have you heard of this story before?
