I enjoyed the review, Heather. Your sense of humor shines through in a nice way, and I'm glad to hear that non-comic nerds enjoy it the same way they did Iron Man. As far as the inserting stuff about your personal life... *shrugs* As Sue said, there is no magic formula. I'm fairly long-winded when I write, and a lot of my (especially early) reviews reflect that. I make a more conscious effort these days to ask myself, "Okay, how much of this anecdote is relevant to the review and will make people laugh who don't know these guys, versus how much do you really need to know why he's nicknamed 'Sqeak' to understand?" Then I try to edit accordingly. For instance, my next review will make mention of the fact that I had a group of old college friends visiting last weekend. It will not go into why, in the below picture, we look like we're auditioning to be part of K-Fed's entourage. I don't think words can explain it. -D

Yeah, words can't explain. Words can't explain how hilarious that is. I'm going to stop even trying. *continues muttering to self* Well thank you for the advice. Very good advice, in fact. Also, as something Phil gave me earlier, advice I had tried to give myself but wasn't sure about. You guys (Phil, Huck, Lucky,Sue) have helped me a lot. Thanks. I'm about to post yet another review and I'll take your suggestions to heart. I can't believe I have such a plethora of review material all in the space of three days but here it is.

Great review, BCWC. I can appreciate your writing style even though I was less enthusiastic about the actual movie than you seemed to be. It was definitely better than the first Hulk (along with a mile-long list of other things), but I honestly had more fun pointing out all the local locals I could recognize. Those campus scenes? Almost entirely the University of Toronto. Yup... By the way, BCWC, when I type out your acronym, I get the urge draw a bad-ass lightning bolt down the middle of it and yell out " Bacca Wacca!"

Congratulations, Oogie. You've singlehandedly cemented my decision to keep this username. I really wasn't fond of it before, and was going to change it. It was a temporary name that I chose because...well...I own a black cat and a white cat. Wow, I'm creative.
Now I command you! Call me Bacca Wacca!!!
ROFLMAO. So great.

man, i liked Hulk 2003 so much better. Sam Elliot OWNS William Hurt, and say what you will, i liked the action scenes in 2003 better, and the design of the hulk. it may not have looked as much like the Hulk from the comics, but i found it more believable.

Ditto. Now if they had taken the Actor and his CGI counterpart that played Abomination and put him into THAT movie instead of goofy old man.... that would be my perfect Hulk movie.
