Back to Shalla-Bal = Lila Cheney?
BAM! Mike comes through with the 2-pointer in the clutch. Indeed, the Joan Jett-inspired character Lila Cheney, girlfriend of Cannonball and former employer of Strong Guy (and Dazzler), is also a mutant capable of teleporting cosmic distances and an intergalactic rock star who uses a sci-fi Dyson Sphere as her headquarters. Well done!

Oh, this is painful. I have some things worked out in my head and I'm chomping at the bit to get them out. Patience, patience.
Think I'll go play Ultimate Alliance till the time is right.

Okay, okay....this is killing me.
I was nearly dancing with joy because I just KNEW I had one of these songs earlier. But then I reread a clue of yours where you described the character in question as "bizarre and eclectic", like his/her song and...well....I'm not sure. The character is "Bizarre", without a doubt, but I'm not sure about "eclectic".
THEREFORE I'm doing a complete turnaround here and declaring my total confidence that Wolverine's song is Still of the Night by Whitesnake.
You hinted that Wolverine's song had already been guessed, albeit for a different character. I used your hints to go through a process of elimination, and came up with five songs that COULD have been it, theoretically.
Then....oh but then only one song out of those five made any sense. You hinted that Wolverine's song was going to be "bad-ass". You insisted that Whitesnake was "hardcore" and that the Wolfsbane guess was along the right lines for this song, but not quite. (And really...my other four song options were about as hardcore as a bunny rabbit eating a sugar-coated carrot while watching Teletubbies).
Also, the lyrics seem like they could have been written straight from a monologue outta one of Logan's Jean Grey-filled dreams (exactly what KIND of dreams I will not say).
SO it's gotta be Whitesnake. If this world is good and pure then Wolverine's song has GOT to be Whitesnake.
EDIT: Reading back over this it reads as if I thought Wolverine's song was Assimilate, which isn't true. I was totally going for Warlock for that one*death glare being repositioned from Phil, to dead center of Oogie's forehead*. Darn it, I hope I'm right.
The world is good and pure again! Still of the Night does indeed describe Wolverine, aka Logan, aka James Howlett, the man of a thousand contradictions. Fierce wild animal, restrained Japanese samurai. Rebellious troublemaker, grizzled old soldier. Pepsi, Coke. Whatever he is, he's the correct answer this time. Woot!

Okay, let's try this again...
Assimilate by Skinny Puppy = Warlock?
...pretty please?
Selfriend is correct! A member of the alien Technarch race, Warlock's people feed by infecting other beings with the transmode virus, turning them into techno-organic creatures like themselves and then draining their life energy. Infected beings who aren't drained become Phalanx, a technological race bent on assimilating other beings into their collective hivemind.

Hahaha you might want to give Bacca Wacca the point even if she's wrong, Drew. I can hear her mind snapping from all the way over here...

Assimilate by Skinny Puppy = Warlock? By the way, Oogie.....don't be surprised if you see shady characters in sunglasses with large, blunt instruments lurking around your house. Those are wrenches and....well they're just they're to test the meters. Yeah......meters.....

Yeah....I think this has consumed me a bit too much these last few days. EDIT: Oh, and I can't be wrong, Oogie. And if I am then I may have to injure puppies and kittens because I PUT OFF MY WARLOCKE ANSWER FOR THE WOLVERINE ONE. You and Phil aren't getting Christmas cards from me this year.

Okay, so we've established that Strange Animal by Gowan belongs to neither Wolverine, nor Beast, nor Sabretooth. It would seem then that the smart money would be on the only animal-y character left; star of my first failed guess, Wolfsbane.
However, one could argue that Moonlight Desires by the same artist would work as well or better for her, especially if you're playing the whole werewolf angle (the "feel" seems a bit more appropriate to her character, as well).
As such, I think I'll take the latter as my guess. And should the former turn out to be the correct match, I fear I shall have to bite my own face off.
Final answer?
Unfortunately, no... should've used a lifeline.

Oh well. I might still have a shot at a point later.

We're only a third of the way into this and we're already contracting hitmen on each other.

On the plus side I don't see it escalating much further.
Unless someone ELSE has doomsday devices tucked away somewhere...
