Not having a lot of luck with Scotland; time to give Ireland a go.
"Vox" by Sarah Mclachlan: Siryn.
My face was delicious, by the way.
Fortified with face-y goodness!
And people seem to be on a roll, as Siryn is correct! The daughter of X-Man/former Interpol agent/Generation X mentor Banshee, Theresa Cassidy inherited her father's sonic scream, as well as the capacity to enchant others to her will through the sound of her voice. Sadly, she also inherited extreme fertility and is currently carrying Jamie Madrox's child. Or children. It's hard to be sure.

Also, I can't help but notice that Mike's made four guesses in the last two days...just saying...

no no no no no NO! For shame!
7/18 guessed Psylocke 7/19 guessed Forge. Was wrong. 7/20 guessed Lila Cheney 7/21 guessed Bishop 7/22 guessed Shadowcat
Get more answers right, don't try to sabotage the leader. Bad form, Oogie, bad form.

Woah Oogie's actually right. You first guessed Psylocke on the 19th. So then there's no mathematical way you could possibly have 5 points if you hadn't made two guesses in one day. I was wondering how you were doing it!
EDIT: BAH Lila was worth two points. I'm an idiot. Thanks for reminding me, Kaleb!

I wasn't trying to sabotage you, Mike. The times on your posts, for me, anyway, have your Forge and Lila, and Bishop and Shadowcat guesses on the 21st and 22nd, respectively. I guess it's just a time zone issue...my mistake...

Ok, after reviewing the time stamps and accounting for the difference between those and the actual time where I am, I may have to dock myself one point, or else forfeit my guess for tomorrow because I think my last answer was two hours too early. My math really sucks though, so I guess it's up to the judge:
Drew, what's your verdict?

I was wondering how you were doing it! Lila was worth 2 points. Nay, Mike's legit; that just makes it that much more irritating. However, rather than cast aspersions on his credibility like some forumites (taste my self-righteous, accusatory italics!), I have chosen to take the snooty high ground by instead composing a strongly-worded letter: Dear Mike, Please stop kicking the crap out of us. Hugs and Kisses, Kaleb

I would make an allusion to "Too Legit to Quit," but since I'm the target of your self-righteous, accusatory italics, I'll just sit in the corner with my home-made dunce cap...

My math really sucks though, so I guess it's up to the judge: Drew, what's your verdict? You know, I've tried to go back and figure this out and my math sucks badly as well. (Also my memory is a bit smelly, as Kaleb noticed! Sorry about that ) I've nearly made multiple guesses twice since this started (though, one of those times was in the middle of the day, so I don't have much of an excuse). I live in California, so I'm on Pacific time. I tried to look up to see what time you're on but part of Arizona uses DST and part doesn't ('cause THAT makes sense). So...yeah I have no idea. *gears grinding, breaking sounds* My head hurts. Oh and Kaleb! As for you and your self-righteous, accusatory italics, well...I'm going to throw sandwiches at your door. Eat them like a good mutant or else I'll have to KILL YOU VIOLENTLY!

Okay this is the LAST I'm going to say about it, so as not too look like I have a vendetta against you or something, Mike. BUT....timestamps and whatnot aside, you've made 5 guesses, one of which was wrong. So...(and I asked someone for help with the math this time, lol) there's no way you can have 6 points like the scoreboard says. Tee hee. Okay that's enough attacking Mike for one hour! I'll come back for more after I've had some sleep.

You've seen my bio pics, right? Do I really look like someone who needs to be told to eat sandwiches?

Your bio pic? Oh you know I've actually never looked at that page since you joined. Don't know how I managed to forget! Nothing personal, really I just....um....oh wait look over there! *runs*
The sandwiches thing was a Troll 2 reference, by the way. Man, it's embarrassing to admit I made a Troll 2 reference. *goes to shower away the shame*

Alright, time to play blindfolded darts. Changes by Yes...Beast? Yep! Henry "Hank" McCoy, the X-Men's favorite erudite, polysyllabic genius and man-about-town, has been through a great many transformations in his life, both before and after this playlist was created. From drinking a serum that turned him into a blue-furred beast in appearance as well as name to (briefly) experiencing a decrease in intellect every time he used his super-strength, Hank has now turned into... a cat. Yeah. Maybe Kyle can explain to us why that's a good thing.

Flibbertyjibbet! So many guesses I want to make!!! Must use an inordinate amount of exclamation points to get my meaning across!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaaahhhhh. . . "Lock and Key" by Rush: Jean Grey, perchance?
This hurts me more than it hurts you, but no. ALTHOUGH, I can tell you the character who matches that song is female and has certain similarities to Jean, in personality if not in appearance.

Actually, BCWC that's valid. I've only made 5 guesses, 4 were correct, one was worth 2 points. I should only have 5, unless Drew gave me a point for being everybody's punching bag. I honestly don't know.
Anyway it's 2am where I am and safely after midnight, so I'm gonna go ahead and make a guess:
Spiritwalker by the Cult = Magik?
Okay, I've gone through and looked over all Mike's guesses. Here's how the dates/times are showing up to me (all eastern time):
7/19 at 5:20 pm: guessed Psylocke 7/21 at 5:37 am: guessed Forge 7/21 at 1:34 pm: guessed Lila Cheney 7/22 at 2:40 am: guessed Bishop 7/22 at 12:52 pm: guessed Shadowcat 7/23 at 4:55 am: guessed Magik
Mike, tell me if I'm reading that wrong, but otherwise, I'm going to have to dock you points for your Lila and Shadowcat guesses.
Ok this is how I figure it. I figured out I'm exactly two hours behind the time stamp, so by reckoning, this is when I made each guess.
7/19 - 3:20pm - guessed Psylocke 7/21 - 3:37am - guessed Forge. I think this is where I went wrong assuming that guess would count for the 20th, though I honestly don't think I was up that late on Sunday. the guess was supposed to be my 7/20 guess at any rate. 7/21 - 11:34am - Guessed Lila Cheney after getting up in the morning, still thinking my last guess counted toward yesterday. 7/22 - 12:40am - Guessed Bishop 7/22 - 10:52am - Guessed Shadowcat, and I docked myself a point.
Sorry folks. I didn't mean to cheat. My weird sleeping patterns and lack of the concept of chronology is to blame. I wasn't payibng attention to the time stamps and just thought that because I had one guess for each day of the contest so far I was doing ok. So I'll go ahead and drop those 3 points. And I apologize to everybody.
Thanks, Mike. It takes a big man to admit his mistakes, and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
Unfortunately, this is REALLY not your day, as Spiritwalker is not Magik. Sorry. It is, however, a character who was presumed dead by both readers and the other members of the team for a significant period of time.
