I can somehow always SENSE when a mutant is about to leave us, the only question I ever have is usually who. And seeing Shalen's name up there, all I can say is.... awwwwwwww.....  While I will not miss having to scroll up and down to read reviews anymore, I will always miss your unique perspective. Good luck in life, Spiderdancer. |

I'm so sad! Shalen's reviews were some of my favorites! I don't have a Netflix account, but I can't count how many times I wish I did just so I could rent some of the obscure titles she's covered. The footnotes were endlessly entertaining & her style of writing was refreshing in a way. Lots of luck in all future endeavors & here's to hoping for some guest features! |

Shalen, I'm sorry I didn't learn of your departure in time to get something proper written up for the farewell. In lieu of the same, let me just say, without reservation and hopefully with no more creepiness than is absolutely necessary, that you were/are my second-favorite Mutant, right after Poolman, and excluding myself.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, and there's no need to feel guilty for leaving me behind with the uninteresting hacks.
