Sorry, Phil, wrong on both counts (although both guesses do make sense). Down There By The Train is the one-off character's song, and the celebrity who did this one's voice has only made one appearance on the show (think pre-Itchy and Scratchy Movie...).
I feel bad for not giving you the point for "Bob" cause, you're right, it does feel like it should be Barney's song. But it's not...disregard the references to beer in the lyrics, if that helps...

Zombie Eaters by Faith No More = Barney
For his Treehouse of Horrors snack time?

Good guess ("Barney, you're a zombie?!" "No, but when in Rome..."), but no. The answer for that song lies in its lyrics.
You do have another guess for today, Poolman, in case you want to try another guess.

Here's an awkward stretch of a guess:
Zombie Eaters = Kirk Van Houten

That is a bit of a stretch, drew. You're thinking too much about it...

Two guesses for Friday, then I'm definitely out until I hear more clues.
"Down There By the Train" = Mr. Bergstrom "Bob" = Principal Skinner

Okay, one final member of the Simpson's family is still on the list, so I'm going to guess for that one...
"I'm Affected" by the Ramones = Marge?

And how about (as an alternate answer):
Zombie Eaters by Faith No More = Maggie (cute widdle baby)

Two guesses for Friday, then I'm definitely out until I hear more clues. "Down There By the Train" = Mr. Bergstrom "Bob" = Principal Skinner If Mr. Bergstrom were to hand you an inspirational note as he stepped onto the train to Capital City, that note would read "You are right." That's three points for ya! I realized a day or so after I put up that list that I probably should have put up a different one-off character, since Dustin Hoffman recorded his lines under the name "Sam Etic," making that guess a little trickier than normal. Oh well...

And how about (as an alternate answer): Zombie Eaters by Faith No More = Maggie (cute widdle baby) Yup, only one member of the Simpson family is left, so only one of those is right... ...and that's Zombie Eaters! Point for Phil! ;D So that leaves us with only two songs left:
Live Wire by Motley Crue I'm Affected by The Ramones
That's two points on the line; enough for Phil to push himself into the lead, or for drew to tie Drew for first.
One last clue: the characters to whom these songs belong have (at least) one thing in common. I actually find it kinda humourous that these are the two that have made it to the end...

I also want to thank everyone who took a shot at this game (even if you didn't end up scoring) for playing. In retrospect, some of the song-character connections weren't perfect (I probably should have given the list more thought), and I didn't think people would play long enough for all but two songs to remain on the list. This has been fun. Ok, play on...

Hey, we should be thanking you, Oogie. The X-Men are a niche market, but the Simpsons are universal.
As for my guesses, these last two are pretty tough. Shot in the dark, I'll say:
"Live Wire" = Ruth Powell "I'm Affected" = Edna Krabappel

"Live Wire" = Ruth Powell I'm assuming you mean Ruth Powers, cause I couldn't find any information on Ruth Powell. Anyway, both guesses are wrong. Think of characters that are more closely associated with one another...
