Peter Griffin: Well, I suppose if all those shows go down the tubes, we might have a shot. You know something I will never understand? Sliders. Specifically, how can such an awful awful show get cancelled so many times and yet somehow avoid getting canned and yet, actual good shows can be cancelled before they're even aired!

Sliders WAS good... in the first two seasons.... I clocked out when they introduced the fact that Quinn was really from another dimension and had a twin brother... yeah, that's when it just got STUPID.
A good premise, a good show, ruined.

They cancelled Roar after like 13 episodes. Very early Heath Ledger, like 1997 or so. If you like Robin of Sherwood with Michael Praed/Jason Connery (son of Sean), you'd probably like Roar. Basically the same kind of idea with Celts and Romans instead of Saxons and Normans.
