Unfortunately Merlin's song was guessed already by astral. Wow...this game has turned into one big humbling experience for me... Alright, my first guess... Bad Moon Rising = Hercules Against The Moon Men? Bad Moon Rising is,in fact, for Hercules Against the Moon Men! This movie's home to one of my favorite MST3K quotes ever (mostly because of Kevin Murphy's delivery). Hi! I'm a chocolate bar. Break off bits of me and enjoy me all day!

Ok, my second guess...this one's (I think) a bit of a stretch... I've Committed Murder-Macy Gray = the Sinister Urge? Aarg. While not at all a stretch, it's not correct. Right line of thinking, though. I figured this would be a tough one, as many of these movies feature someone getting murdered in some fashion.

This contest covers only those episodes found on Volumes 1-12 (easily found by checking out Amazon). ...Or the MST3K shelf on my DVD bookcase. Putting my obsession aside, please tell me I'm not the first person to guess the best MST3K of all times. Intergalactic - Space Mutiny. And our intrepid hero slowly roasts the disabled guy. You're getting a lump of coal. I think it's awfully nice of you to give that dead woman another chance. She's a graduate from M.I.T. and she still has to serve drinks to men. Did you see my butt? Why are they having so much trouble hitting the giant, slow moving white thing? Perhaps they shouldn't have set their phasers to 'miss'. If the first ten minutes are any indication, this movie's gonna blow! Technically she thinks the truth, very loudly. Haven't you heard of the 'getting some' clause? Let's see... what did I forget to hide... Oh ROFLMAO. I loved reading those quotes. Is it sad that I know which one of M&TB said each of them? But how could you forget these gems? Big McLarge Huge is a name permanently engraved into my lexicon. How is it you keep making me want to give you the point SO badly even though you get it wrong? I wholly agree that this song would be perfect for this movie, but it isn't the correct match. Seems like someone already took a crack at Space Mutiny, but I could be wrong. In any case I will say that Space Mutiny's song is about a relationship in the movie. Intergalactic, on the other hand, belongs to one of the (in my opinion) hardest song/movie connections to make on the list. The movies in questions are so COMPLETELY devoid of any real plot/sense/anything good that it was truly difficult to match them with a song. Oh, and never put your obsession aside. I've found it to be most rewarding and it is at the forefront of all my life experiences. One can never be too obsessed about MST3K.

Hamlet. Why don't you ramlet?
Death is clearly the theme du jour, but is it "let the bodies hit the floor" or "I've committed murder"? Since so many people die in the last scene that it inspires the quip, "We are now looking for volunteers to rule denmark", I'll go with "bodies hit the floor".
I'm a wuss for not killing myself, that's all you had to say!

Oh astral. So close and yet so not. My pleasure at your pain aside, you definitely put too much thought into this one. Giant Spider Invasion is one of the easier ones on this list to get.

I'm a wuss for not killing myself, that's all you had to say! I will say that I appreciate your going after Hamlet. This was the hardest movie on the list for me to find a song for. I enjoy the connection you made, though it is incorrect. I'd concentrate more on our protagonist's frame of mind for this one..... As for that song, it goes to a movie that has not been guessed at yet.

Things have gotten more difficult in the game now that all of the cast and most of the easy songs (title connection) have been guessed. Since the game's been going for 17 days now I will offer hints. For anyone new to the game or who hasn't realized it yet, I give a hint about a song and movie every time one is guessed incorrectly. So...you may wanna go back through and check them out. There are quite a few songs on here that no one has tackled yet, so here be some hints for said songs: I was even a nice person and put them into categories. Come On. Really? I can't believe no one has guessed these yet. These are (IMHO) easy to get from the title. *Mission Impossible Theme (think about what kind of movie/show this was the theme song for...) *Robot Rock (Any of these movies focus on a robot?) *Amnesia (Gee, could this have to do with our protagonist's situation?) *Days Go By (I dunno. I think it's pretty easy to make a song/movie title connection with this one) *Bug Bytes (I really don't know how to hint at this one without too obvious. I mean, "bug"?) *Alien Youth (A couple of people have already guessed at this song, but I don't recall giving a hint for it. The problem with this song is people are assuming that the "youth" in question is human and stays a youth throughout the whole movie). *Cosmic Girl (Not too tough when you think about which movies have a cosmic girl in them.) Gonna Make You Sweat*Come Out And Play (What's the song about? Oh really? What a coincidence 'cause the movie features that, too!) *Misery (A lot of these movies focus on miserable people [while simultaneously afflicting the audience], but I believe this misery is more well-known. Take that as you will. ) *The Grand Duel (This is an instrumental song [it's on the Kill Bill soundtrack if you want to hear it]. All you have is the title, so use it wisely. Hint/Trivia: This movie was the one that made the crew decide to ALWAYS watch a movie all the way through before OKing it.) *Money (Driving force behind the plot. Ambiguous, ain't it? ) *What's Your Fantasy (Need to focus on the villain(s) for this one) Because The Pain of Others Makes Me Smile Inside*Intergalactic (One of the most ludicrous, disjointed films of all time. The title very much has to do with the....er....protagonist? Stupid confusing movie.) *Getting Drunk On You (So much drinking there was even a host segment that talked about it) *What I Can Do For You (Difficult indeed. Listen to the lyrics. What kind of relationship does that make you think of? Could it be connected with the industry featured in the movie...?) *Hard To Handle (HA! Got 'ya! THIS song is connected to its movie because of the artist.) *Smooth Criminal (So smooth the movie title couldn't even figure him out *Let The Bodies Hit The Floor (Someone's going on a rampage....) You Frighten Me If You Get This One For Any Reason Other Than Process of Elimination*Breezin' (Focus on the feel of the song/feel of the movie's soundtrack. Also the title, if you wanna stretch it a bit.) Hope these helped, but not too much. I like to give you a sense of false hope before I shatter every shred of your dignity.

I think I'm qualified to make another guess now (gomen if I'm not) Secret Agent Super Dragon - Mission Impossible Theme I'm not sure what time zone you're in, but the game goes by Eastern Time. By my time stamps you guessed over your limit but I'll let it slide. This time. Mostly because at this point in the game, with only three people playing, I'm getting a little lenient. Point being, you get the point! Yay for cheating!

Cheating! How to make it work for you, at home and on the job. Fortunately, your mob ties will get you off, Johnny. Should Mrs. Granby have come into Johnny's bedroom at night, uninvited and bodiless? For depressing phone sex, dial 1-900-ALFALFA. After the old student council rep move out of town. Under mysterious circumstances... Mother Theresa called... she hates you... Best. Short. EVER.
