Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland I'm a fiend for those old classic comic strips, so if I ever see this DVD fo' cheap, I'll definitely give it a review. -D

Mutant Reviewers has already dipped a (reluctant) toe into Bollywood with reviews of Bride and Predjudice and (the execrable) Bollywood/Hollywood. How about reviewing the first major science fiction Bollywood movie - Koi...Mil Gaya? A combination of ET, Close Encounters and Charlie/Flowers for Algernon, you haven't lived until you have seen a pudgy little blue alien break into song and dance with a passel of Indian urchins! Koi...Mil Gaya won practially all the major Indian movie awards for 2003 and stars arguably the handsomest man in filmdom - Hrithik Roshan. (His dad directed and has an early cameo and his uncle did the music. Bollywood is nothing if not family oriented!)
There is a sequel called Krrish, again starring Hrithik Roshan. Krrish is the first live action Indian super hero movie. The hero, Krrish, is a bit Batmanny but without the angst, brooding or darkness. And he dances - spectacularly. Again, papa Roshan directs.
And for Aishwarya Rai fans, look to Dhoom 2, a Bollywood crime caper starring Ms Rai, (her now real life husband) Abhishek Bachchan and ...Hrithik Roshan as the master criminal. More dancing, more singing, more gorgeous women, lots of stunts/wire work and the first full on frontal ... kiss in a major Bollywood production! Goodtimes.

Unconditional Love (2002)
Lissa, this movie made me think of you! As something you'd like, not really any of the characters or anything....
Anyway, any movie that has the lines: "Julie Andrews is in the cockpit." "Thank God." and "No one messes with a dwarf in a red raincoat." is okay in my book.

The Who's Tommy. It is worthy of this site for the bedroom-television-spewing-soap-bubbles-and-baked-beans scene alone. Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery Of America. Chopping trees! Rape!* Killing small animals! Pooping! All in English-subtitled Norse!
*Of a man, no less.

(Language hip-check taken.) Since I found no review for Brazil either, I have decided that you all despise Terry Gilliam. Therefor, I must put a giant mondo-scary curse on you, the result of which will be that all of your movie-playing-things will only show Crossroads until such time as this attitude is rectified.

Do not despair, o Fair Mutants, for I shall lift the curse. What'd I win?

You have won my thanks, for easing my pain.
(Later) Having just read that review, I...uh...I think there is a conversation I should go have with my mother about her maybe having taken brown acid while pregnant with me.
