So, anybody feel like playing a game that you don't actually get anything for winning? Sure you do!
Here's the deal: If you think you're a bad enough dude (or dudette), see if you can use your mad writing-style-identifying skillz to match each of the six branches of this year's Haunted House to the mutant who wrote them.
First one to get them all right gets a shiny box of nothing. I briefly considered pitching in an actual physical prize, but a quick glance around my immediate environment does not reveal anything that I'm willing to part with. Because I'm a scary old miser!
So instead we'll just let the prize be bragging rights. And perhaps a strangely pleasurable sense of mild shame and self-loathing.
As Justin is beginning his 500-year meditation, and Kyle is off on another secret mission for the Queen, the mutants you have to pick from are Sue, Drew, Lissa, Mike, Al and myself. Courtney and Heather unfortunately didn't have the wherewithal to get hired quick enough, but on the bright side, that means they can take part in the guessing.
That's about it, I guess. Oh, just one more thing: No hints! Ever! Except that my branch has an MST3K reference near the beginning! Just that one!

Those who don't, get naught by my pallid fanny, flappin' in the wind. Okay, so maybe that's a tad harsh. Amendment time: --Because I just can't help myself, I'm going to help you. Crappage. HOW did I manage to incorrectly name an MST3K movie? I've never even SEEN Earth vs. The Spider. Oh wait...I said that last night after my Halloween party so I guess that explains why my brain wasn't working.

Incidentally, in the interest of sportsmanship, and with all due respect, I think it should be a one guess every 24 hours rule. Lest our eager young padawan simply post every possibility before anyone else gets a chance to take a shot.

Sue speaks with non-forked tongue. There should be some limit, but just to be difficult, I'm going to make it two guesses per 24. Starting at midnight tonight, which means that Heather--along with all of the other forumites who are champing at the bit to participate but are just shy--am/is/are free to guess according to present craziness until then.
