well my highschool decided to put out a newspaper and I was able to weasal my way into getting a review column, unfortunatly my particular movie tastes (usualy described as wierd and kind of scary) are known throughout the school. they are forcing me to review certin movies, I don't even get a say in what I can review. ahhhhhh. any ideas on how I can get around this and bring to the brain washed patrins of my school some decent cinema. To bring the glories of mutantdum to all. now the school newspaper and the internet tomorrow the world!!!!! Sorry I just hate having to review what others tell me to.

Well, maybe you have to REVIEW certain movies. Doesn't mean you have to say nice things about them.....
;D
Congrats on the column though!

Yeah, what Lissa said. Plus, while review a movie you really, really didn't want to see, through in a few "shout outs" about movies you like. For instance:
"This movie has poor plot development. Cheesy one-liners that try too hard. If you want to really have a good time enjoying some campy goodness, go rent Army of Darkness instead."
BooYa!

Cool. Congratulations on your column.
Talk with the peoples at the top and think of a half assed excuse to review the movie.
Example; I want to review Donnie Darko becuase it deals with Teen depression and I think it may be a good film for the school to watch and take notice of.
Example 2; I want to review Clerks because it will show the students how to cope with their soul crushing job when their dreams of becoming Scientists and being all over pop magasines have been smashed by the harshness of reality.
Or better yet hijack the film review column. And one you have a following, they cant stop you reviewing what you like.
