Unskippable

I know quite a few of us are Zero Punctuation fans. Upon the insistence of many I finally tuned in a couple of months ago and fell in love.

But! Have you guys see Unskippable, also a great video feature from The Escapist? During one of Yahtzee's older reviews he voices pity for those who haven't watched it and, because I feel compelled to do nearly anything the man suggests, I had to check it out and I absolutely love it.

This will first and foremost completely delight MST3K fans because that's what these two guys do with video game cinematics. Even non-MST3K fans should enjoy this as the videos are only 7 minutes long as opposed to full movie length like MST3K and instead of terrible movies they're riffing on video games which, unless you stumbled upon this thread because your cat or guinea pig or bird walked across your keyboard, I know you already like.

Check it out. I'm steadily working my way through the back catalog. I'm off now for another hit.

I've watched a few. I loved the one for Dead Rising.

And you're right. Yahtzee is a hard man to refuse. I've bought games on his recommendations, and I routinely wish he would post new game reviews faster, so I wouldn't go out and be disappointed by stuff (*cough*Scribblenauts*cough*).

Ah, I saw that review and thought of you and...dex, I think it was.

I nearly always agree with how he feels about games.

Unskippable...yes. I think X Blades or whatever it's called was the first one I saw. Whichever's the one where Yahtzee makes an appearance. Dead Rising is the one that hooked me, though.

My only complaint is Pauls' voice bugs me.

Yes, here! ... What? Oh. To be frank, and risking ridicule -- but then I live dangerously -- I have no clue what this thread is about. Other than trying nethack recently, I hardly play games these days. But I enjoy hearing about it because some day I'll pick it up again.

Now I'll go fire up the ol' searching machine.

Edit: Done. My ISP went belly-up for a while, but now I'm in the know.

Wow. Hilarious. How do gamers feel, knowing their money is spent for this? But then it can't have been more than five bucks. Accumulated.
