Especially since it's the same game three times in a row. The same, spam filled, unfair, leaderless game. If real war was like that I doubt we'd make movies about it. The actors would get so caught up in all the running around calling each other obscenities and shooting 900 rounds a minute, they'd end up shooting the camera crew.
Anyway. You realize you answered every single one of your own questions. Why allow banned consoles, and then ban them? Cause then they have your money for your live subscription. Why do it in November? Because then you buy another Xbox and a legal copy of the game just to not fall behind.
I hate the 360 and everything about it. It's like we've almost come full circle to that dreaded point we all knew was coming: Microsoft and Apple merging together. The Xbox 360 represents Microsoft trying to be like Apple. It's 'sleek', contoured (why, I might ask?), shiny white or silver, and, most importantly, they don't want you to ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER open it. Even if the stock components are crap. The original Xbox you didn't HAVE to open because it was built so well. Mine survived a fall off the top of a dresser, while playing a game, and didn't screw up at all, it didn't even scratch the game.
The 360 comes broken out of the box, practically. I don't remember a mass recall of Gamecubes, Playstations, Xboxs or Wiis, why did the 360 fail so hard out of the starting gate?

I was talking to my family member today and he was telling me his story of trying to play COD online with some more experienced gamers. These gamers knew all the spawn points and, instead of using any actual skill, rather just waited at the spawn points after he was killed, waited for him to be respawned, then immediately shot him again. Apparently the game now has a seven-second invincibility upon respawning, but he said it just raised his average time of death. Other games have this same problem and I don't find those games fun or challenging, either. The questions weren't designed as actual inquiries needing an answer. They were to provoke thought about what I feel is Microsoft's true intention with this ban, which is a lot less about stopping piracy and a lot more about shady business practices to earn money. It's even more upsetting once you think about the fact that the bans happen right around the Christmas shopping season.

This, by the way, is one of the chief reasons I'm so enthusiastic to limit my multiplayer experiences to the living room, and not the internet. 99% of the players you meet on the net are complete asses.

Because of the kind of people that are on Live I never would have even bought XBL were it not for having a friend in Louisiana that I really wanted to play with. What a cruel irony that my account was cut off before she and I were ever able to play together. I did get into playing Burnout online quite a bit. It's difficult to be as much of a d-bag in a racing game, but it's possible as I found out. On that note I especially hate the microphone function... Before Left 4 Dead 2 came out I got the demo and was playing that a lot online with people. The L4D2 players I came across were actually all very competent players as well as good human beings (sign of the apocalypse?). Sometimes when I played against people with much less experience it was frustrating, but they would eventually catch the hang of it and come help me when, after saving their butts, a horde of zombies piled on top of me.
