I am a college student to beer is the drink of choice. I am also one of those Canadian things so most is north of the border type stuff. I really like Moosehead and Alexander Keiths. I tried some Stella and Red Stripe the other day and they weren't to bad. Seelmans Honey Brown is great. We have a nice micro-brewery here called Fort Gary and they make an amazing pale and dark. I won't drink Bud, MGD or Corona, unless it has a lime or I've already finished my six off and I'm not sure what I'm doing anymore. I really don't drink often and rarely get drunk but I do really enjoy beer.
If I had money I would like to get into Scotch as the bit I have had was amazing. I like the hard stuff but just can't afford it. mix Scotch with a bit of Ameretto and I'm in heaven.
the only wine I've had any abundance of it my dad's homemade stuff, which isn't bad. But I would like to some day get into good wines as I have really enjoyed the small amount of good stuff I have had.
unlike most it seems I like my alcohol to taste like alcohol. otherwise I would be drinking grape juice or five alive.

2) At work, we would get about a dozen of us together at major holidays, and hold a "beer exchange". We'd meet in a parking lot, where each person would bring a case of a different microbrew. We'd swap, so that each of us had about two beers of a dozen different brews. It allowed you to try a LOT of interesting beers, without having to buy them by the case. This sounds perfect. I had a friend at work and we did this for awhile...each of us splitting a sampler case from different breweries. But he went back to home brewing and left me all alone At least I get to try some of his good craft beers. ;D He made a java porter than was incredible.

Ooooo..... where to start. I tend to stay away from wine, but I have a friend who is into brewing his own mead. That is EVIL at best. On the cider front Woodchuck is the best I have found that is mass produced in the U.S. Hornsby (spelling?) is passingly good and I think that people over rate Strongbow. That and I perfer pear cider over apple. On the beer front I detest most American mass produced beers (What does a romantic coupling in a canoe and American beer have in common? They are both [fill in the blank] near water). I have found some of the Pacific North West breweries beers to be of outstanding quality. I tend to stay away from Hefe more and more due to a trip that passed through Germany, Lets just say that after you have had German Hefe the American is just a "pail" immitation.
Now on to the rum front. While Capt. Morgan has the seniority here his brand holds not a candle to the smooth and spicy taste of Sailor Jerry ( yes named after that famed tattooist (spelling?) Part 2 to come.
