Finding out that the other tenants refer to me as "that woman who looks and dresses as if she just escaped from Sin City, except she uses long skirts" behind my back.
Sure, they probably didn't mean it as a compliment, but I choose to take a renewed pride in my corsets, high heels, penchant for velvet and pvc, and large collection of black clothes.
And no, there is nothing wrong with taking an Abyssinian cat for a leashed walk in the park.

Also yesterday, I announced the auditions for the film and where everyone can sign up for it. The list was completley filled in 1 minute literally.

Raking your landlady's leaves and feeling good, because you've now cleared two stumps you kept tripping over, made 40 bucks for Christmas, and helped out an elderly lady who has been very, very nice to you.

Happiness is finding the PERFECT present for someone at 50% cheaper than you've found it before! score!!!! (darn...now just to keep it and not give it to the person before Christmas! that's the hard part! i've already given away 2 christmas presents, but i get soooo excited i can't wait!)

This is going to sound kind of weird/cheesy, but for me happiness right now is "How to Save a Life", by the Fray. I cannot listen to this song without crying. But it feels good, too, because I'm crying because someone has encapsulated how I can feel so perfectly.

Discovering Buffy on DVD. See, I've liked Firefly for a long time. So I picked up season 2 of Buffy in a Boxing Day sale, as it was cheaper to buy than it would be to rent. They were all sold out of season 1 so I thought I'd just wait. Well, I couldn't wait, and it doesn't matter. Man, this show rocks.
