Yeah, we were pretty much an Artificial Tree Family. Which I can see the appeal, considering the hassle it took to get this thing set up, and the inevitable squirrel that will pop out and wreak havoc on my Christmas dinner guests. But it certainly smells nice, like I've hung up 10 pine-fresh car things.

Hmm, to me, happiness would be a squirrel lunging out of my XMas tree and terrorizing my family. Well, at least my mom's family. We don't get on so well. Hah!

Also, watch out if you have cats. Mine basically think they're feral, so most years we just resort to leaning a chair up against the tree to balance it. Nothing warps a tree base like a terrified 20-pound feline clinging on for dear life as the thing tips over.
